Throughout this series of articles, we have been discussing key aspects of Christian life comparing biblical Christianity to TPM Cult. In this episode, I would like to discuss another very important foundation of our Christian Life. That is about our CHRISTIAN FAITH. We will contrast how different is the Spirit Driven Faith and the Soul Driven Faith. When talking with TPM Believers/Clergymen, very often you hear them referring to their Cult Faith as “This Faith“. This usually happens when they try to distinguish the present TPM Faith with the earlier faith they had in the previous church.
Sadly most TPM believers are enamoured by the TPM Faith because it has something that catches their eye. They think the obstinate behaviour of TPM Clergy with their God is a great way to imitate. As mentioned earlier, the Soulish way is to be an imposter and drive away from the Spiritual.

The Crux of TPM Faith Life
When you discuss Faith Life with TPM Ministers or believers, you will quickly find out that the TPM Faith is all about GETTING THINGS DONE for yourself. Listen to this audio clip and you will understand the orientation of TPM Ministers.
Primarily there are TWO HINGES for their Faith in Christ.
- The Hinge of TPM Version of Divine Healing
- The Hinge that says God will provide for all our Needs/Wants/Desires for our temporal life in this Earth.
There are TPM Ministers who now realize the peril of holding on to the first hinge and being obstinate about that. I do not think that hinge is going to be relaxed unless all the 3 top charlatans get seriously sick at the same time and then think of correcting the doctrine.
Following are some excerpts from the Biography of Pastor Paul(Ramankutty).
These are examples of the second hinge of TPM Faith Life.
Pastor Paul did not fear starvation. He courageously dedicated himself and his children to the will of God with an unflinching determination that he would not depart from this faith, even if his children were to die of starvation. His eldest son (Freddy) was only eighteen years old then, and he was studying in the Royal College. The famous Dr. Asarappa was his god-father. When Dr. Asarappa heard that Pastor Paul had stopped his childrens education and that as an insane person he was going to live something called faith life,
Once Pastor Paul asked the Lord for a thousand rupees for the ministry. But he had no means of receiving that amount. Through the firm faith which they had in the promises of the Lord, he and his fellow-workers tarried in prayer with praising. As a result, the faithful God gave it to him without delay. A rich lady was preparing to leave for England. (She was not a Pentecostal believer). One day she took part in a meeting that Pastor Paul conducted at Borella(Colombo). At the end of the meeting, she gave a cheque for thousand rupees to Pastor Paul and requested his prayers for the blessings of her journey to England. Thus he received that amount instantly as a result of earnest and collective prayer.
Pastor Paul prayed for a car, to facilitate transport and conveyance during the ministry. At that time, there was none among the members of the Church who could afford to offer a car. However, they prayed, believing that the Lord was able to give them one. He made them praise God in faith, as if they had already received the car. This he did according to the words of the Lord: “And if we know that he hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him” (I Jn.5:15). He too was praising God. ………….. However, the Lord honoured the faith of His children and gave them a car without further delay. Pastor Paul could thus exhort his fellow-workers to stand firm in the faith, and establish them in the faith through his personal experiences. “
As per the Biography of Pastor Paul, we will see that the man’s FAITH was all about getting his WANTS met. It also included the ₹ 1000 and the Car. A ₹ 1000 those days would be equal to ₹ 10,00,000 today. A Car those days would be equal to owning a BMW today. I do not consider these as NEEDS.
The nutshell of TPM Faith
Do you now realize why TPM Believers stand in the queue to get prayed? Listen to the topics and all of them are about the things pertaining to the temporal life in this world. They even testify about receiving these material/physical benefits in their testimony and credit goes to the Minister for praying. TPM Ministry caters ONLY to the Soulish(SELF-CENTRIC) Man. It is NOT for the Spirit(JESUS-CENTRIC) Man.
If only for this life we have hope in Christ, we are of all people most to be pitied.
1 Cor 15:19
What TPM is propagating is an Indic version of the Health(Hinge 1), Wealth, Prosperity (Hinge 2) Gospel. It is not any different than the Word of Faith Movement in the West. They have added some Hindu/Buddhist practices and called it Consecration.
The Christian Faith
Now that you have seen the crux of TPM Faith, let us have a look at True Biblical Christian Faith. The Christian Faith did not start in 1923. We can listen to Jude who testifies about this Faith.
Beloved, although I was very eager to write to you about our common salvation, I found it necessary to write appealing to you to contend for the faith that was ONCE FOR ALL delivered to the saints(NOT TPM WHITE CLADS).
Jude 1:3
We need to get to the pages of the Bible to know what was the FAITH that was ONCE FOR ALL DELIVERED TO HIS SAINTS.
The first verse concerning FAITH that comes to my mind is what Paul defines in his Epistle to the Hebrews.
Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see. 2 This is what the ancients were commended for.
Heb 11:1-2
This is one of the most misquoted verses by the Ministers in the Word of Faith Movement. I have also heard a few TPM Pastors taking the same route. So it is important that an explanation is given for it.
As per the above-mentioned verse, our FAITH is tightly coupled with HOPE. We have to clearly nail down what exactly is this HOPE which is the confidence of our FAITH. Paul explains the characteristics of this HOPE in his Epistle to the Romans.
22 We know that the whole creation has been groaning as in the pains of childbirth right up to the present time. 23 Not only so, but we ourselves, who have the firstfruits of the Spirit, groan inwardly as we wait eagerly for our adoption to sonship, the redemption of our bodies. 24 For in THIS HOPE we were saved. But HOPE that is seen is no HOPE at all. Who HOPES for what they already have? 25 But if we HOPE for what we do not yet have, we wait for it patiently.
Rom 8:22-25
Notice how Paul is linking this same HOPE of the ROMANS and the HEBREWS with the phrase that IT IS INVISIBLE NOW. The End Result of this HOPE AND FAITH is our FINAL SALVATION.
THE CHRISTIAN FAITH is NOT ABOUT PHYSICAL HEALING, CAR, ₹ 1000, HOUSE, JOBS, BUSINESS, MARRIAGE, CHILDREN ETC. IT IS ABOUT OUR FINAL REDEMPTION.
TPM and the WORD OF FAITH MOVEMENT folks have misinterpreted the word HOPE in HEBREWS to mean DESIRE. That is why these people are chasing after physical and material things in the name of FAITH. People who are after the material/physical things of this world will never groan for the redemption of their body. They are happy in their delusion that their reservation to NEW JERUSALEM is confirmed by the White Clads of TPM. THEY DO NOT EVEN KNOW WHAT A SPIRITUAL GROANING IS.
Conclusion
I hope you would have understood the difference between the Soul Driven Faith practised by TPM Ministers and the Spirit Driven Faith that was practised by the early Apostles. What we see today is nothing but APOSTATE CHRISTIANITY in full flow. Peeping deep into their minds, I am not at all surprised that these Ministers and Believers are just USING GOD, as done by their leader Ramankutty. They are of the same category as the devotees of Ganesh/Lakshmi. Both are seeking the same type of blessings from their respective gods not knowing both are manifestations of the same MAMMON. Indeed we are in the last days and just before the appearance of the Son of Perdition.
I tell you, he will see that they get justice, and quickly. However, when the Son of Man comes, will he find faith on the earth?”

Remember that Jesus is not speaking about that TPM Faith which meets your Physical/Material Needs. He is speaking about THAT FAITH which was ONCE DELIVERED to the SAINTS and is Required for OUR FINAL SALVATION.
Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;

Thank You Bro Admin for this teaching & the real faith life. If everything is for temporal needs, the Gospel is in vain. The real martyrs died in vain & our salvation means nothing. Hence we ought to focus on the spiritual aspect of Christianity & then only all these (material & temporal) things will be added unto us (Matt 6:33)

It’s akin to driving a car and trying to look at the text/WhatsApp message. If we lose focus because of these materialistic distractions, we will become wreckage. God has given us for our life and godliness WHAT ALL WE NEED (Not what we DESIRE). He knows what is best for us. Be content with what we have but never lose focus on our Goal.

It reminds me of a few pastors who boast of something similar.
One of them had claimed that during a meeting the lights went out and he shouted ‘let there be light’ and the power was back on.
Such stupidity arises when the weather is adverse and it happens that you prayed and then the weather improved. The clergy then thinks that it is because of “THEIR PRAYER” that it got better. This gives rise to boastings and arrogance.
TPM leadership over the years have successfully managed to thrive on the twisted version of Heb 11:1 and made it into a faith we all can see..
They invented a series of so called gatherings from dawn praising, 4 o clock praising, special fasting prayers, intercession prayers, sisters prayers, mothers prayers, bachelors prayers, RPD, Revival meetings, special divine healing meetings, patronizing house prayers, to ensure people actually believed the opposite of Heb 11:1.
But as it evolved to me a few years back, I understood that TPM advocates a well established systematic & deep rooted counterfeit gospel with the sole purpose of defeating the very purpose Christ became our redeemer.
It is so counterfeit that only the Holy spirit can help discern it. For the normal gullible person claiming to be christian, TPM will appear to be the true version.
I have a suggestion and got a bit inspired after watching the video. Why dont we all turn in short audio clips of heresy, blasphemy etc thats gets spewed out of pulpit notably by the centre pastors and their bosses from our respective archives. The audio clips can be synced with their image in the background and also showing verses where it counterfeits with the Gospel. I am sure if we all chip in, we can develop a short video possibly titled ” DEEPER NOT-SO-DIVINE TRUTHS OF TPM”.
