Made Perfect in Christ Jesus – 7

As mentioned in the previous articles, the Soul can only put up a show to cover up the real filth within us. Our soul not equipped for direct sanctification without remaining in subjection to the spirit. It takes a lifetime for the Soul to be saved. The Soul of a Spiritual Person will always be subjugated to his living spirit.  Sadly as with many TPM Clergy, they are NOT BORN AGAIN. They just happened to join a religious organization. Even now they put up a show of their false religion and fool people with their acrobatics. The entire organization is run by people who do not know that SIN DECEIVES. They are busy with accumulating glory for them from their believers and others.

How can you believe since you accept glory from one another but do not seek the glory that comes from the only God?

The Deception of a Soulish Life

I would like to cite a fictional story for you to understand the deception of our Soul. This will show you how the soulish life can cover-up their nakedness with fig leaves.

I used to have a Hindu friend in my college days. We used to hang out together. We would frequent many restaurants for the lunch break. Inside the restaurant, we used to order all kinds of non-veg including Beef/Chicken/Mutton. He loved these items and relished it till the very last drop of the dish. He came from a brahmin background and even the word “non-veg” was a taboo in his home. According to their faith, eating non-veg is a gross sin.

When he reaches home, he changes completely. He becomes one of the most orthodox Hindu. I used to wonder how can he change like that in a matter of hours. He used to share his dilemma with me. As soon as he reaches his home, he wears those fig leaves which would hide his nakedness(love for non-veg food). His parents used to boast about the GREAT CONSECRATION followed by their Son. He is the best Son any parent can have.

The Soul will ensure that the stage is managed well and you will be appreciated by other soulish individuals. In reality, TPM does the same as how my Hindu friend behaved. They go through all the motions(their dress, makeup, chantings, hypocrisy etc) to show others that they are somehow HOLY and SPECIAL. This works well in a HINDU and BUDDHIST land and I should say that they are pretty successful in their Event Management.

Again the same old question pops into my mind. WHOM ARE THEY TRYING TO FOOL?

The Pistachio Story

This is a crude example and is mentioned here for want of better alternatives. Consider the young Pistachios in the featured image of this article. It looks quite nice. To a Naive person, it gives all the impression of a fruit that is edible and can be consumed immediately after plucking it. Its colour represent a ripened mango. However, you will spit it out as soon as you start chewing. It’s quite unedible to your taste buds.

There is a point in the life of a Pistachio where the ripening of the real inner fruit starts. As soon as the inner fruit starts to develop, the external covering becomes hard and brittle. You will almost think that the external cover will not allow the real fruit to develop fully. The same is the case with our Soul. The Soul does not like to LET GO. It will try to exert its own force on the Born Again Spirit. This situation is what Paul quotes as the war between the Flesh and the Spirit.

For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would.

Gal 5:17

If you are truly Born Again, you will be taken through a path where your Soul would be Broken. It’s not a matter of coincidence. That is how it always works. Consider this single Pistachio. The external covering has started giving away. It is getting split exposing the inner fruit. If you had never experienced brokenness, you can be categorised in either or both of the below options.

1. You are NOT Born Again.
2. You have a very strong Flesh/Soul which is yet unyielding to the Spirit.

Sermon on the Mount – The Breaking of the Soul

Keeping the above understanding, look at the Sermon on the Mount. You will realize that all those statements by Jesus were intended to break the Soul and grow the Spirit. Consider the following portion. These are intended to break the soul so that the spirit man within you grows.

³⁸ “You have heard that it was said, ‘Eye for eye, and tooth for tooth.’^[h] 39 But I tell you, do not resist an evil person. If anyone slaps you on the right cheek, turn to them the other cheek also. ⁴⁰ And if anyone wants to sue you and take your shirt, hand over your coat as well. ⁴¹ If anyone forces you to go one mile, go with them two miles. ⁴² Give to the one who asks you, and do not turn away from the one who wants to borrow from you.

Matt 5:38-42

Peter testifies the way Jesus conducted when his soul was vexed by the Roman and Jewish authorities.

When they hurled their insults at him, he did not retaliate; when he suffered, he made no threats. Instead, he entrusted himself to him who judges justly.

1 Pet 2:23

Do you now realize why TPM Ministers do not preach about the Sermon on the Mount? To really preach about the Sermon on the Mount, you should have at least started to break in the soul.

• When you extort money from people in the name of Tithe, do you think this is the work of the Spirit Man?
• When TPM Believers scramble up to stand in a queue to be prayed by the Minister and paid in return, do you think it is a work of the Spirit Man?
• When TPM grabs the land of people who did the mistake of giving them to stay temporarily, do you think it is a work of the Spirit Man?
• When TPM Minister sits in the Special Pastor’s Kitchen for food while the cattle class believers are having lower quality food, do you think it is a work of the Spirit Man?
• When TPM Minister behave nicely towards the rich/educated and at the same time behave rudely with the poor/uneducated, do you think it is the work of a Spirit Man?
• When TPM Minister preaches about God’s blessings and associates it with Health, Wealth and Success, do you think it is the work of a Spirit Man?
• When TPM Minister extract hard labour from poor believers and do not pay them the right daily wage, do you think it is the work of the Spirit Man?
• etc

By all the above actions, we see that the TPM Ministers are no better than the young Pistachios who are yet to be born again. They are just fooling Indians who have an ancestral Hindu/Buddhist mindset. Just like in the earlier example of how my friend was fooling his parents, they are fooling you. No wonder that they are a failure in western nations. Their gimmicks would not work there.

It is about such people that Jesus mentioned in the Sermon on the Mount.

²¹ “Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. ²² Many will say to me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name and in your name drive out demons and in your name perform many miracles?’ ²³ Then I will tell them plainly, ‘I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!’

Matt 7:21-23
