The words in the title of this article are very well known for people in TPM. Every time you visit the cult branches, you will see a particular verse displayed. They accentuate the verse in such a way that the intent goes for a toss. Concentrate on the BOLD part of the below verse.
…”we preach“ , warning every man, and teaching every man in all wisdom; that “ we “ may present every man perfect in Christ Jesus:
Col 1:28
When you buy the TPM Twist, you will think that the TPM Clergy can make people Perfect in Christ Jesus. Therefore they end up prescribing the “Seven Steps of Salvation“. By following the seven steps, they make their believers “PERFECT IN ADAM“. When Buddhists try to teach the gospel, they come up with TPM. It is important that our readers understand the deception of the Salvation preached by TPM.
By virtue of being born in the Human race, we all are IN ADAM when we are born. So every time we see ourselves doing something wrong or sinful and try to be a better man, we are just becoming a BETTER ADAM. If we think that we can pray or fast and become better, we are becoming a BETTER ADAM. Any improvisation done without being IN CHRIST is just making us Better ADAM.
The Plan of Salvation
If you think that Salvation is something that you will have to ATTAIN (TPM Teaching), you are thoroughly mistaken. The Plan of our Salvation is already made before we fell in Adam. Let us see how Paul describes our Salvation.
Who hath saved us, and called us with an holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given us “ in Christ Jesus” before the world began,
1 Tim 1:9
Few things which are made clear in the above verse are as follows
- The Determined Plan of our Salvation was already done before Creation (Therefore before our Fall)
- It’s NOT AT ALL Based on OUR WORKS but according to his own purpose
- The Salvation is done “IN CHRIST JESUS“
What is meant by “TO BE IN CHRIST JESUS”?
Let me explain it by a crude illustration.
Note the above Russian Tea Dolls. The smaller could be put into the bigger one and finally, only the biggest one will be seen. All that the smaller doll needs to do is get into the bigger one. While in this example, the smallest one gets into the just bigger one, in the Christian concept, all of us get IN JESUS Directly without any intermediaries.
We start this process of getting IN JESUS by Baptism. By Baptism, we become Dead with Christ.
3 Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death?
Rom 6:3
If we believe that we are dead with Christ, we also have hope that we will be resurrected with him.
I want to know Christ–yes, to know the power of his resurrection and participation in his sufferings, becoming like him in his death,
Phil 3:10
If you have truly shared in his death, you will also be sharing in his resurrection. To be in Christ is not a new concept floated by Paul. Jesus also spoke about this same thing.
If you ABIDE IN ME, and MY WORDS ABIDE IN YOU, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you.
John 15:7
Next time someone quotes the latter portion of the above verse and asks you to pray for your worldly vision, stop him and tell him that Jesus did not say he will do your bidding. If your clergy quotes it to pray for a bigger convention ground, a bigger TPM Auditorium etc, you should not pray for those as it is not a sign of Jesus words abiding in him.
What are we “GETTING IN CHRIST JESUS”?
We are getting to become Co-heirs with Christ. By Co-heirs, it means that we are partakers of all that Christ has. It also means that we are not a sole proprietorship to the blessings IN CHRIST JESUS. It is akin to the wife being the co-heir of the property of her husband because he inherited the wealth of his father.
Now if we are children, then we are heirs—heirs of God and co-heirs with Christ, if indeed we share in his sufferings in order that we may also share in his glory.
Rom 8:17
The real wealth belongs to God. Christ is the ONLY Heir. If we have an inheritance in God’s family, it’s ONLY THROUGH CHRIST. If we get the privilege to call God “OUR FATHER”, it is because of Christ Jesus. It is NOT because of some imposters who claim to be apostles and say that they can make people Perfect in Christ Jesus.
To know if you are the co-heir of Christ, just examine your life and see if you have sufferings. Also, examine if you share in his sufferings. Many people have a wrong understanding that our material wealth and riches in this world are because of Christ’s blessings as heir. If you are a co-heir of Christ, you will have sufferings in this world to inherit the Glory of Christ in the world to come.
- We share His Father
- We share His Spirit
- We share His Sufferings
- We share His Death
- We share His Burial
- We share His Resurrection
- We share His Glory
- We share ALL HIS INHERITANCE
3 His divine power has given us everything we need for a godly life through our knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and goodness. 4 Through these he has given us his very great and precious promises, so that through them you may participate in the divine nature, having escaped the corruption in the world caused by evil desires.
2 Pet 1:3-4
The instant we are IN CHRIST JESUS, we are granted the DIVINE POWER to lead a GODLY Life. It is this DIVINE POWER that gives us the power to overcome the corruption caused by evil desires. There is absolutely NO ROLE for TPM Clergy to make you PERFECT in CHRIST JESUS. Do not be brainwashed by their theatrics.

Now as per Thomas of Doha it appears that this year is called a year of perfection and holiness. Scripturally it means nothing. But I was about appalled on how people were being taken for a ride saying that they must be holy so that all sin and sickness will flee away and they can be victorious. So for those who know scriptures this is blasphemy but for those with blinders this is indeed the cause to be holy and way to be perfect.

A much needed article not only for TPM, but for so many mainstream churches that teach attendance, church communion, tithe is a prerequisite to be considered as an “in thing”
To me it’s nothing but gift wrapped bondage.
Your total surrender of common sense becomes a reality if you don’t step back and consider everything that God has already given you freely to enjoy and employ.
I say this with a heavy heart that many people quit TPM only because of social reasons and although they end up becoming members of other churches, TPM culture and community is etched into their mental make up.
The need of the hour is a real conversion of the heart and mind backed by the evidence of good works eventually.
If we fail to focus inwardly for the need for a saviour, we will not only allow our understanding of good works to prevail, but also become instrumental in masking the beast of religious frenzy by adherence to man made keys to success.
I know this is not relevant to the article, but I feel very sorry from personal experience that many who quit TPM did so because they had no use for each other any longer. Unregenerate hearts with Christian backgrounds are more dangerous than the pagan wild.
