Who Wants the Son?

This is a new Series. We call these articles as Parables. You are free to understand the meaning in your own way. This Parable is titled “Who Wants the Son?

There was a man who loved to collect beautiful paintings. He had a son. He too was a great lover of paintings. Both father and son collected antique paintings from all over the world. Some paintings were from the lands of Ur, some from Mesopotamia, some from ancient Rome, and so on. The father and son would sit together for hours and admire the great artworks they had collected.

One day, a war broke in the land. The Son also went to the war. He fought valiantly in the battle and rescued many lives. While saving a life, a bullet struck him in his heart and he died. The Father was greatly grieved hearing the death of his beloved son.

Who Wants the Son?
Son’s Friend

A few months later someone knocked at his door. He saw a young soldier standing at his gates. The soldier held a packet in his hands. “Sir, you don’t know me,” said the man in army fatigues. “I am a soldier who fought wars along with your son. On the day of the battle, your son saved many lives. I was one of many who were wounded. As your son was carrying me to safety, a bullet struck your son in his heart and he died.”

Here,” said he and handed the packet to the old man. “I think your son would have wanted you to have this.” The father took the packet and tore it open. Inside was a portrait of his son, painted by this young soldier. He stared in awe at the way the soldier had captured the personality of his son. Father’s eyes welled up with tears. He thanked the young man and offered to pay him for the painting. “Oh, no sir, I could never repay what your son did for me. It’s a gift,” saying so the soldier went his way.

The Father hung the portrait in his room. Every time a visitor came, he took him to the portrait of his son, before he showed any of the other great works he had collected.

The Old man died a few months later. Before his death, he had written an elaborate WILL regarding the paintings. One day, there was an auction of all his paintings. Many influential people had gathered to see the great collection of priceless paintings of the Father and the Son. They all wanted to buy the best of their great collections.

As the auction began, the auctioneer unveiled the painting kept in the center. It was the painting of the Son, painted by a young soldier. The auctioneer pounded his gavel.

Portrait of the Son

We will start the bidding with this picture.

Who will bid for the Son?

There was pin-drop silence. No one showed interest in buying the painting of the Son. After a few minutes, of silence, a man seated in the front row stood up. He wore as if a snow-white uniform with a perfect crease.

He shouted, “We want to see the painting of  the ladder of seven stepsWill you please skip this one?

The auctioneer ignored the man in white. He turned his face to the people seated in the auditorium and asked again,

Will someone bid for this painting?

Who will start the bidding?

$10, $20…?

Another man stood up and shouted in a loud voice,

Show us the painting of the virgins on top of the mountain in the north.

The auctioneer still acted as if he didn’t listen.

The Son…..!”   “The Son……!

Who’ll take the Son?

People seated in the place started mumbling. They had traveled from far and wide places in the world. They hadn’t come here for the Son.  There was a great commotion in the hall.

People began shouting, “We have left our homes, families, parents, and came so far.Why are you wasting our time with the painting of the son? We want something new.”

But the auctioneer kept insisting for the Son only.

One guy interrupted the earlier one saying, “I have even abandoned my wife and children for this event“.

At last, a voice came from the back of the room. A man stood up. He was an old man wearing a multicolored coat. He said, “I could give $10 for the painting of the Son.” Being a poor man, it was all he could afford.

Auctioneer wanted to get a higher price for the painting of the Son. So he asked people one more time, “Will anyone like to bid for a higher value? Who will bid $20?

The crowd wearing white uniform shouted angrily,

Get away with the son. That is for normal men. Normal people love the Son

We want paintings with deeper truths.

The auctioneer pounded his gavel. Going once, twice, and the painting of the son was sold to the man in the multi-colored coat.

“SOLD”

“SOLD for $10″

The Man in the Second Row

A man sitting in the second row shouted, “Now bring the paintings of Alwyn De Alwis to us.” The white mob responded in unison, “Yes let the deeper game begin. We are consecrated to receive these paintings

The auctioneer laid down his gavel.

I’m sorry,” said he.

What about the other paintings,” asked the crowd wearing Ujala white clothes?

The auctioneer replied, “When I was called to conduct this auction, I was told of a secret stipulation which I was not supposed to reveal until the painting of son was sold. The owner of this entire estate had laid down in his will that only the painting of the son would be auctioned. Whoever buys the painting of the Son, would inherit the entire estate.

The man who took the son gets everything!

God gave his son 2,000 years ago, to die on a cruel cross. Much like the auctioneer, the true servants of God cry today, “The Son, the Son, who’ll take the Son?” Do you want the Son or are you like the whitewashed sepulchre interested in everything other than the Son?

  1. Astounding parable,well depited .

@..”A man sitting in the second row shouted, “Now bring the paintings of Alwyn De Alwis to us.”

The true psychology of the man sitting in the second row could be easily seen in the depiction here as he(man sitting in the second row) leaves no stone unturned in praising AA in all the available forums he gets even now. This is what exactly the very concept of parable that ‘JESUS’ expounded in His teachings for a better understanding of the common man.

      My interpretation of above parable.

Man sitting in second row is independent pastor.
Tpm pastor are always in first row. Second class row is for other church.

      Moral of story,:
Kindly buy paintings of Chief pastors.
Keep it in your collection like father and son of the story above. Many saints keep paintings of all Chief pastors in their room. Many sisters keep it in their Bible.
Don’t keep cross in your neck or on top of church. It is idol worship.

You are such a deluded person and your soul seems to be empty.

Buying paintings of anyone and hanging them up as a form of reverence is equal to idolatry.

Anyone selling such things should be cast out of the church as Christ threw the money changers out of the temple.

Shame on you for such ideas!

  2. Excellent analogy…unfortunately the blind mice of TPM will follow their pied pipers to their graves.

The singularity and the simplicity of the True gospel of Christ is not good enough news to the TPM faithful and hence they prefer the false gospel of Alwin and his chief monks.

  3. Excellent depiction of the Son. He who hath ear let him hear.
Like bro NMSTF commented, the simple Gospel is complicated by these TPM apostles, to the extend they them self get confused, contradict and will ensure that hundreds listening to them with mouth wide open would have left super confused whilst walking away empty.
Sometime I feel sad seeing how an average bro. would exhaust himself writing down all dozens of non related verses from the pulpit and wonder what he’ll make out of it.

  4. Brilliant. Couldn’t have put it better. For years we have been hearing TPM pastors say about other Christians that “they only have the salvation experience”. They have placed the everything the Bible is about as the cheapest and they have elevated made up doctrines as priceless only to revel in it saying “nobody else has these doctrines”. Well duh! Nobody else has it coz you made it up 70 years ago!

  5. @ Vik G….. “Buying paintings of anyone and hanging them up as a form of reverence is equal to idolatry.”
You ‘ve made an excellent observation. Those RCM practices are coming to mind.Looks like Elina has totally indulged in those practices. I think any amount of our supplying green pasture would not suffice her,she does n’t relish in it.
What can we do,she likes to dwell on eating the the dried —hay.
But Vik G brother, we ‘ve all taken a joint stand that what ever she writes( we should appreciate for her painstaking approach of visiting us at regular intervals unlike those of flickering stars) ,we all agree to disagree with her..
That solves the issue with her.We don’t chide her.

But let me exhort her a little bit and watch what she is going to react in return.

Elina dear, this following exhortation is for you beause you seem to be showing a lot of interest on these spiritual issues.
“Jesus’ church had only 11 members in it. When ten leaders say one thing and two say the exact opposite, whose side will you take? God was on the side of the two
    here – Joshua and Caleb.
Unbelief and Satan were on the side of the other ten. But the Israelites foolishly followed the majority – and that was why they had to wander in the wilderness for the next 38 years. ( in the present case with this CULT –93 years!)They did not have the discernment to see whose side God was on! God and one person are always a majority – and that is where I want to stand always. We see in Exodus 32 that God was on the side of just one man, Moses, when all the Israelites were worshipping the golden calf. But of all the twelve tribes, only the tribe of Levi could see that then. And now when God was with Joshua and Caleb, even the tribe of Levi could not recognise it!”
Hence Elina speak the language of faith ,we all would like to hear from you.
    Wishing you all the best.

    1. Dear eagle eye,
Don’t provoke me. Have you return from your fromtpm church ? ( I am still in faith home serving saints. I get only one day to serve them. Once I return I will teach you a good lesson.)

      @ Vik
      Idolatry is very vast subject.

      1) Saints never do idolatry. They put no color drawing in any doctrine book. We refrain from it no matter what. Image of flower is also idol. Therefore never use flower or coloured bed sheet. Saints never sleep on colored bedsheet. (Not even when they are doing wrong things in secret of night). It is short of high standard of holiness which tpm has set up, to sleep on colored bedsheet.

      2) Saints don’t allow to take photo during holy convention. Live videography of meeting is prohibited. It is idolatry. On the other hand doing videography of funeral of saints is not idolatry. Sister come to my home and ask for funeral DVD of pastors. If they ask it means it is allowed.

      3) Saints never teach to keep photo of your deceased parents, enclosed in a photo frame, hanging it on walls. It is Idolatrous activity. Workers sisters never keep parent or siblings photo in bible. However, keeping pastor Paul and Pastor Jacob Ratnam singham photo in bible is not idolatry. It is allowed. There is no punishment for it.

I say again. Idolatry is very vast subject. Lot of things is Idolatry and lot of things is not idolatry. Don’t get confused. Better ask servants of God if you do not understand.

      Bye.

  6. @Elina: Saints never sleep on colored bedsheet. Not even when they are doing wrong things in secret of night.

When I see this statement of yours, I get reminded of one incident.

One of my friends was attending TPM while she was in hostel, doing her graduation. Like most of the TPM youths, she also had an affection with a youth’s favorite Pastor. The Pastor had seduced her with his honey-trapping words. One day he had called her to his room and forced her to satisfy him with oral sex. Though it was disgusting to her, that stupid girl couldn’t resist him as she feared what would happen to her life if she had refused to obey him and earn his anger.
After this incident, he again called her to his room. This time the girl expressed her fear saying “I’m afraid that I might lose my virginity if I come there”, for which the Pastor replied-“No, I wont do that at any cost for it is against my consecration”.

Only after this incident that girl realized the cultic mentality of TPM fanatics, that they would presumptuously sin against the Holy Bible but fear to disobey the TPM rules.

    Double standards!

    1. Dear Meha

Yours is a fake news .

I tell you real fantasy i heard from one brother.

Once one pastor was in his room. Devil was tempting him for his holiness. Suddenly door bell rang.
Pastor opened the door. To his surprise , a woman was standing at door. She wore nothing. Immediately pastor pressed for emergency bell calling mother, mother. Mother and sisters took that nude sister inside faith home and covered her with clothes. The girl vanished. Then everyone realized the girl was devil coming to test saints overcoming life.

When i heard this story, i asked brother “Ah.. really?” The girl vanished?
He said, yes it is true.

      1. Dear Elina, I know what I said is true. And I admit that fanatics like you will defend your idols no matter what, Just like there still exists blind followers of Nithyananda.

      1. Dear Bro.Franklin,
I would have revealed his name by this time if he is still alive. He died in 3 months after this incident. He might have repented of what he did before he died? God knows.
However, the only reason that I revealed this incident now is to make people aware of.

The Pastor was well known for his fiery anointing and professing ‘holiness’.

        Everybody,
Love one another, yet, be not so blind to make anyone your idol. Priest worship and celebrity worship are also idolatry. Avoid leaving your young children under someone else’s care, even if he is some clergyman.

  7. On the actual note, Praise the Lord admin brother for this befitting parable about TPM

Only past few weeks / months, I was noting how often these white clad frauds talk about the Son, our Lord Jesus Christ. It was very startling to see it was almost to nothing!

Even the very few times which you could finger count they mentioned christ, they interpreted some other “christ of their own” in their usual subtle way and only mentioning always – separation/consecration, anointing, zion / nj and all those etc., nonsense

    4+
    1. Bro Fred,
and repentance for the forgiveness of sins will be preached in HIS NAME to all nations, beginning at Jerusalem. Luke 24:47

TPM Doctrine is concentrating on how to get a place in Zion by THEIR CONSECRATION. Therefore Christ does not get a place in their sermons/teachings/discussions.

// Eagle eyes is devastated and Surya lost to me

Ok I am the loser . What is your achievement by being a winner ?
Our battle should be against satan right ?
    Ephesians 6:12
12 For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.

let the spiritual eyes of understanding of our dear sis. Elina be opened. We bless
her for all the curses she is throwing …..(Atleast 3 she called 3 names) …We ‘ve to endure…JEHOVAH NISSI is on
