In the last article, we identified the characters seen in the vision of Rev 12. We had mentioned that the Woman is the Church. However, it’s not wrong to call this woman as Israel, if we identify it correctly.
One important thing that we would like to bring to your notice is that this woman whom we identified as the Church (Ekklesia/Congregation/Assembly) is not what came into being after the resurrection of the Lord. It was present from the very beginning of the creation. TPM does not like this Truth because that will topple their applecart and their deceptive doctrines.
However, the saints that lived before Jesus had the vision. Just as we look back to History to see the crucified Jesus, the Old Testament saints looked forward to their future where they expected the Messiah to be a propitiation for their sins.
He is the atoning sacrifice for our sins, and “NOT ONLY FOR OURS” but also for the sins of the whole world. 1 John 2:2
According to TPM Doctrine, he can only be the atoning sacrifice of those who were born after 30 A.D. Seems their TPM-GOD has a problem with redeeming people who lived their life before Christ. They are preaching a God who is trapped in the NET of TIME and has problems with saving ALL THE WORLD.
Let us check a few verses which prove the understanding that God’s church is not bound by any time capsule. But before that, you need to bear in mind that Ekklesia means Assembly or Congregation. It does not mean any institution as is understood by TPM folks. You can check out Strongs Concordance 1577.
Understanding of Church among Patriarchal figures
The Congregation of the Lord is not something that can be Bound with the chords of time, region, race or any such superficial boundaries. Let us see how David Identified the Church.
Remember thy CONGREGATION (EKKLESIA), which thou hast PURCHASED OF OLD; the rod of thine inheritance, which thou hast redeemed; this mount Zion, wherein thou hast dwelt. Psalm 74:2
David clearly knew that this Church is an ancient community of believers which has transcended time and will continue forever.
While explaining the history of Israel, Stephen quotes an interesting point. He identified the presence of Jesus in the “Church in the Wilderness” while explaining about the Journey of Israel from Egypt to Canaan.
“This is he, that was in the church in the wilderness with the angel which spake to him in the mount Sina, and with our fathers: who received the lively oracles to give unto us:” Acts 7:38
While reading this portion, have you ever thought how the Church came to existence before the time of Jesus?
This same understanding of the Congregation/Ekklesia was uniform across the people who had the correct understanding. Let us check how Moses thought of it.
24 By faith Moses, when he was come to years, refused to be called the son of Pharaoh’s daughter; 25 Choosing rather to suffer affliction with the people of God, than to enjoy the pleasures of sin for a season; 26 Esteeming the reproach of Christ greater riches than the treasures in Egypt: for he had respect unto the recompense of the reward. Heb 11:24-26
We have highlighted two terminologies in the above scripture passages.
- The People of God (Church/Ekklesia)
- The reproach of Christ (Jesus Christ who was yet to be physically born thousands of years into the future)
Clearly, Moses understood the gospel of Christ much better than the perverts of TPM.
How did Paul Understand it?
We see that Paul clearly distinguishes Physical Israel from Spiritual Israel and explains it with an analogy of the Natural Olive vs the Wild Olive. He tells us a story where the branches of the Natural Olive(Israelites) were broken and branches of Wild Olive(Gentiles) was grafted in the same place from which the natural olive branch was cut off. The reason for their being cut off from the parent was their UNBELIEF.
20 Well; because of unbelief they were broken off, and thou standest by faith. Be not highminded, but fear: 21 For if God spared not the natural branches, take heed lest he also spare not thee. 22 Behold therefore the goodness and severity of God: on them which fell, severity; but toward thee, goodness, if thou continue in his goodness: otherwise thou also shalt be cut off. 23 And they also, if they abide not still in unbelief, shall be grafted in: for God is able to graft them in again. 24 For if thou wert cut out of the olive tree which is wild by nature, and wert grafted contrary to nature into a good olive tree: how much more shall these, which be the natural branches, be grafted into their own olive tree? Rom 11;20-24
Paul clearly identifies the Main stock on which we (Gentiles) are grafted into. He is not saying that we are a new Olive altogether. We are grafted into an already existing Olive tree to be part of that Olive. He identifies this Olive which has wild olive branch grafted into as the Israel of God(Gal 6:16).
The Woman entity in Rev 12 should not be boxed into the definition of TPM where her lifespan is 2000 years old. This woman is the Israel of God out of which our Messiah came and has been caught up to God and his throne (Rev 12:5). The Church of Jesus is built upon the foundation of Apostles and Prophets(Eph 2:20). The Apostles refer to the church doctrines of the New Testament Period whereas the Prophets(their teachings) refer to the building blocks from the Old Testament Period.
“The Law and the Prophets were proclaimed until John. Since that time, the good news of the kingdom of God is being preached, and everyone is forcing their way into it. Luke 16:16
He said to them, “This is what I told you while I was still with you: Everything must be fulfilled that is written about me in the Law of Moses, the Prophets and the Psalms.” Luke 24:44

The Foundation of the Church is already laid. There is no more additional stones to be laid in the Foundation as is taught by TPM. These white clads of TPM are Frauds and they are NOT the foundation.
For no one can lay any foundation other than the one already laid, which is Jesus Christ. 1 Cor 3:11
