This series deals with rapture related and eschatological events that should come to pass shortly. We have shown lots and lots of scriptures which proves that the second coming of Jesus would happen only after the great tribulation towards the end of this age. Sad to say that our TPM Fanatic friends are confused about this subject. This is caused by the deceptive interpretation of The Pentecostal Mission cult leaders regarding the vision in Rev 12.

The interpretation of The Pentecostal MIssion regarding this chapter is one important screw that holds fast the overarching cult power over their laity. We will scripturally prove how deceptive and faulty is that interpretation. In our Venom Removal Series, we are traversing through each book of the bible where we are showing that Jesus is the main factor of the Scriptures. What TPM’s doctrine is doing is, removing Jesus as the main factor and putting their own clergy as the Main factor of the scripture. The Interpretation of Rev 12 is another such attempt to subdue Jesus as the sum and substance of the Scripture.

In this article, we will expose how inconsistent is TPM’s interpretation. In the next article, we will also give our understanding of this vision. However, unlike TPM, we are not bound by any dogmatism. We are flexible to change our position if we are shown a better interpretation which syncs up with the scripture.

The Vision

Let us review the pictorial representation of the vision.

Rapture Series – Scriptural Twist of The Pentecostal Mission - 1

A great sign appeared in heaven: a woman clothed with the sun, with the moon under her feet and a crown of twelve stars on her head. She was pregnant and cried out in pain as she was about to give birth. Then another sign appeared in heaven: an enormous red dragon with seven heads and ten horns and seven crowns on its heads. Its tail swept a third of the stars out of the sky and flung them to the earth. The dragon stood in front of the woman who was about to give birth so that it might devour her child the moment he was born. She gave birth to a son, a male child, who “will rule all the nations with an iron sceptre.”[a] And her child was snatched up to God and to his throne. The woman fled into the wilderness to a place prepared for her by God, where she might be taken care of for 1,260 days.  Rev 12:1-6

Summary of TPM’s Interpretation

The Pentecostal Mission interprets the woman as the “New Testament Church”. They do not consider the people in the Old Testament as members of the Church of God. As per TPM, the Old Testament Saints are a sub-standard category group. They consider the Seven-Headed Dragon as Satan. After that, the man child that is born is interpreted as the Victorious Church.  Though they do not say it explicitly, you can understand that the so-called “Man Child Victorious church” is their Clergy and the cream of their laity, if you read between the lines.

They go on to claim that the “Man Child Victorious church” would be raptured leaving behind the Woman Church which is assumed to be a defeated entity. They sometimes refer to this woman as the “Left Behind” Church. This woman will then be tortured and persecuted by Satan for 1260 days(3.5 years) and then they will be martyred. Following which there will be a mid-tribulation rapture which will result in part of the woman being taken up(the ones that pass the supplementary exam). TPM’s doctrine inserts a mid-tribulation rapture for the supposed “Tribulation Martyrs”. Their doctrine assumes that the great tribulation period is a 7 year period. Their doctrine also goes on to say that a portion of the Woman will align with Satan and be working for him.

My Questions to ardent TPM Fanatics.

If I have summarised the TPM Point of view different than the official position, please correct me. Following are my questions which have not yet been answered by the Clergy or the Top TPM Laity.

  1. How do you arrive at an interpretation of symbolic passages as in Revelation?
    • Do you take the clear passages of the scriptures as a benchmark,
    • or Start a new story to fit your doctrine?
  2. Where did you arrive at the inference of a Victorious Church vis-a-vis a Failed church?
    • Which Scriptural passage tells you that there is a Failed Church out of which a Victorious church will come out?
  3. Why is the Failed Church depicted as a heavenly being, clothed with the Sun and standing on the Moon? From the TPM Interpretation, I understand that the woman was Destined to Fail and she could not have done anything to avoid it.
  4. The Church in the rest of the scripture is depicted as a woman.
    • How come that the Victorious church in TPM’s interpretation is depicted as a Male?
    • Are you telling us that Females represent defeat and Males represent Victory?
    • Is such a view supported by other passages of the scripture?
  5. TPM’s interpretation adds the term “Victorious” to define the male child. However, the scriptures do not give that adjective. What is your motive to add the term “Victorious” to the male child?
  6. Is not Victory the result of a battle?
    • How come the woman is not classified as Victorious whereas the Male Child is?
  7. Which was that Battle where the Male Child(TPM Clergy and Cream Laity) went through, that made it Victorious?
  8. Which was that Battle the women (Left Behind)went through, which made her NOT VICTORIOUS(Defeated)?
  9. Which scripture passage do you find a clear message that there will be a Mid-tribulation Rapture?
  10. Which Scripture passage do you find that the great tribulation will be a 7-year long tribulation?
  11. Which Scriptural passage supports you in your doctrine that there will be a second chance for the failed church(Woman)?

I would request our readers to help me with the reply to the questions above. I have asked these questions to TPM Clergy and faithful laity alike. Every time they squeeze out of the situation by getting angry, feigning busy, or saying “God Knows”. If your doctrines cannot be supported by scriptures, it’s not worth contending for. I consider all TPM Specific doctrines as tools of intimidation and slavery. This Revelation 12 passage interpretation of The Pentecostal Mission is also one of such.

To be continued…..

  1. I see the below two verses in the chapter contradicts with TPM doctrine/interpretation itself( I should say God showed this when I read this chapter with out TPM lens very recently ) .

*******Rev 12:6 And the woman fled into the wilderness, where she hath a place prepared of God, that they should feed her there a thousand two hundred and threescore days.
Rev 12: 14 And to the woman were given two wings of a great eagle, that she might fly into the wilderness, into her place, where she is nourished for a time, and times, and half a time, from the face of the serpent.********

Appreciate if anyone who support the TPM interpretation of Rev 12 can explain.. ( i would like to see how TPM explains the contradiction. )

According to TPM doctrines, the woman ( left behind church) has to face Anti christ and there will be severe tribulations .
But the above two verses clearly says “there is a placed prepared for the woman by God and she is nourished/fed & kept away from the he face of the serpent for 3.5 years…”
So my question to TPM is …does God preserve those who missed secret-rapture ? Wont they face / be presecuted by antichrist ? .. This does not fit properly in TPM version of Rev 12 ..Anyone who understood this pls help…

    • Church during tribulation is not abandoned by God. What does the man child caught up to throne mean?

1 Thes 4;15,16 Lord Himself will descends (here there is no mention of Angels being sent down to gather)

In the middle of tribulation, Jesus sends angels down to gather, He doesn’t come down

How are these 2 the same incident?

Who are those who are coming on white horses with Jesus for the battle of Armageddon

Who are those who are sealed of every tribe of Israelites?

      • My friend NA,
The Lord descends in Matt 24:29-30, Rev 1:7 and 1 Thess 4:15-16. All are depicting the same event. Let us compare both.

See how he is coming from Heaven…Obviously he is DESCENDING TO EARTH. “Then will appear the sign of the Son of Man in heaven. And then all the peoples of the earth[c] will mourn when they see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven, with power and great glory. Matt 24:30

This portion is also about the same event “Look, he is coming with the clouds,”[a] and “every eye will see him, even those who pierced him”; and all peoples on earth “will mourn because of him.”[b]So shall it be! Amen. Rev 1:7

The same event is seen in 1 Thess 4:16 For the Lord himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first.

And he will send his angels with a loud trumpet call, and they will gather his elect from the four winds, from one end of the heavens to the other. Matt 24:31
After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord forever. 1 Thess 4:17

In one place its told about CAUGHT UP and in the other verse, Jesus is explaining the Mechanism of HOW THEY WILL BE CAUGHT UP. He says the Angels will be assigned the responsibility to Do the CAUGHT UP ACTION. TPM Teaches that We will Fly away. But the Scriptures say it clearly that we will not fly away, but will be CAUGHT UP. The onus of the action of CAUGHT UP AND GATHERING TO THE LORD is on the Angels who will do it.

Both these are explaining the One and same event which will happen at the end of Tribulation time. Stop thinking that you will be Caught up based on the Shouting you do in your Saturday tarry meetings. That is a TPM ERROR.

Now that automatically answers your next question about the ones who come with the Lord to Armageddon.

The Elect which was caught up from the earth and the angelic hosts which came down with him are the ones involved in the battle of Armageddon.

  2. Sorry admin, I don’t think you will get a straight forward answer for these very valid questions.
Firstly…because most so called believers are just puppets and don’t have the answer.
Secondly… They will shout and call the people asking questions whether they are from ‘devil’ and whether ‘devil’ is working in them.
How dare anyone question their clergy!!
It would be very good if one of the clergy could answer these and enter a healthy discussion.

I was born and brought up in this organization and have always had some of these questions

  3. @Admin
//Q10. Which Scripture passage do you find that the great tribulation will be a 7-year long tribulation?// I’m not TPM fanatic.
Answer: The Bible verse behind this interpretation is neither Rev 12:6 (1260 days= 360 days lunar/jews calendar X3.5 )nor Rev 13:5 (42 months=3.5 years), but Daniel 9:27
“And he shall make a firm covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease; and upon the wing of abominations’shall come one that maketh desolate; and even unto the full end, and that determined, shall wrath be poured out upon the desolate.”

Dear Admin, as in one of your articles you have pointed out that TPMites usually copy other Church Leaders or Bible Scholars Interpretation. Using Dan 9:27 in this Bible Verse, ‘One day’ represents ‘One year’; so, Bible Scholars believe that Tribulation period will last for 7 Years. [So, it might be possible that TPM Pastors might’ve copied this interpretation. That’s what I believe. I will say with all honesty, I have never read TPMs “Daniel the Undefiled”. ]

Q9. Which scripture passage do you find a clear message that there will be a Mid-tribulation Rapture?
Answer: You may find this question answered in above mentioned Bible verse- Dan 9:27. However, as you have pointed out many times, that TPM’s doctrines usually contradicts itself. Kindly read TPM Sunday School’s Standard 10 Ch 13. You might want to enlist the explanation under the category “Moronic explanation”.

    >>They do preach as ‘Feast of Trumpet’ is a representation of ‘Secret Coming of the Lord’, and ‘Day of the Atonement’ is a representation of ‘Tribulation/Post Trib Coming of the Lord’.
    >> However, they also preach ‘Chief Priest’ used to enter the Most Holy place or Holy of Holies once a year during the ‘Day of the atonement’ or as TPM Sunday School puts it “Feast of the atonement”.
According to TPM Pastors, Coming of the Lord or ‘Secret Coming’ is when Our Chief Priest “Lord Jesus” will take us in the ‘Holy of Holies’ or ‘New Jerusalem/ Zion’!! As of now, our Chief Priest ‘Lord Jesus’ is doing his ministry in ‘Holy Place/Present Day Church-‘!!
    I know, this is confusing.

    • //Answer: The Bible verse behind this interpretation is neither Rev 12:6 (1260 days= 360 days lunar/jews calendar X3.5 )nor Rev 13:5 (42 months=3.5 years), but Daniel 9:27

I am interested to know a few simple answers.
      1. How do we link Dan 9:27 with the tribulation?
      2. If the seventy weeks are not yet accomplished then we are saying that the death of the messiah did not achieve what it was supposed to achieve in Dan 9:24 which is the purpose of the 70 Weeks.
      3. Why are we introducing a Gap of 2000+ years between the 69th week and the 70th week? what is the Logic behind pushing a Gap? Which part of the scripture says that there is a GAP? Is there a precedence of introducing a GAP? If there is a plan to introduce a gap of 2000 years, shouldn’t God have said something like 354 weeks(7+62+285)? Why is he afraid of telling it? Is he in a confused state?
      4. Verse 26th says that AFTER THE 69th week (7+62) the messiah will be cut off. If the week AFTER the 69th is not 70th then can you please name the week in which messiah was cut off?

More of this is mentioned in

  4. @Admin
My beloved brother in Christ, I am not TPM Fanatic. Just Like you even I wanted to understand, some of the questions asked by you!
To understand this, I have seen only one video of “Daniel Raj”. The link is mentioned below:
May be Q1 – Q2 & Q4 will be answered by this video!! For Q4 (See 1:46: and Yes, week after the 69th Week is the 70th Week!)
//Why are we introducing a Gap of 2000+ years between the 69th week and the 70th week//
    Answer: Aren’t we supposed to understand, that there’s no gap between 69th & 70th week;
however, there’s a gap between of 2000+ years between “Anointed One” & “the ruler/ Antichrist”!
As this “Anointed one” himself had said, “And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come. (Matthew 24:14)”

// Which part of the scripture says that there is a GAP? (more than 2000+ years)//
Answer: 32Now from the fig tree learn her parable: when her branch is now become tender, and putteth forth its leaves, ye know that the summer is nigh; 33even so ye also, when ye see all these things, know ye that he is nigh, even at the doors. (Matthew 24:32,33)
Here, (let him that readeth understand) “Fig tree” is the representation of “Whole Israelite Nation”!
Now, we all believe that “every Bible Prophecies” must be fulfilled (Matthew 24:35)!
In Ezekiel 4:5-6 we read that God punished Israelites for a total of 430 years (390+40) of Enslavement!
In Daniel 9:2 we can understand that Israelites endured 70 years of enslavement! So, the remaining are 360 years =430years-70years!
But, after that God wanted all the Israelites to humble themselves and come to Jerusalem(Ezra 1:2-4), but all the Israelites didn’t come to Jerusalem, because they were stubborn!
According to the Law of God mentioned in Leviticus 26:21 “‘If you remain hostile toward me and refuse to listen to me, I will multiply your afflictions seven times over, as your sins deserve”!!

So, practically this period of ENSLAVEMENT must’ve been MULTIPLIED SEVEN TIMES!
    360 Years X 7 Times= 2520 Years!
(Now, we need to understand Jew were using Lunar Calendar, and our Calendars are Solar calendar. And we need to count this ‘2520’ years since Israelites came to Jerusalem to Rebuild the Temple).
So, for our understanding, it would be like 2520 years X [365 Days (Solar calendar) / 360 days (Lunar Calendar)].
The most interesting “Fact” is, this Time Period was already fulfilled by God on May 14, 1948!!]
As he has replanted Israelites in their Nation. !!

Is this explanation is sufficient!! My beloved brother or Sister, whoever you may be (Admin of this Site)

    >> I have heard one more interpretation which is regarding “Anti-Christ”, not Daniel Chp 9. In Psalms 55:20-21: “My companion attacks his friends; he violates his covenant. His talk is smooth as butter, yet war is in his heart; his words are more soothing than oil, yet they are drawn swords.”
This Bible verse is written for “Anti-Christ”. Anti-Christ will be a kind of Peace broker between “Jewish Nations” & “Islamic Countries”!! Yet, as mentioned in Rev Chp 6, but in Reality he wants War or Should I say “Third World War!” (You must’ve known that all of the “Horses” and their “Riders” are the symbolic representation of – The Rule of Anti Christ)

    • Brother Finny
I just clicked the video and it seems to a long one so will have to listen to it sometime next week.
But I am still not understanding how did the AntiChrist Figure land in verse 27. If you assume that the “The Prince that is to Come” is the future antichrist figure. Then I think we have a difference. The one in vs 27 is none other than General Titus who made the sanctuary desolate. This happened in A.D 70.
This event is NOW a HISTORY. So we cannot link that PRINCE and put a gap of 2000+ years.
The Future antichrist figure will also do a desolation activity. That is mentioned in Dan 12:11
These are prophecies of Dual/Multiple Fulfilments.

Now Coming to the enslavement logic. The Jews that were taken to Captivity returned to their land. You cannot say that they did not return. As with any other exile, it is possible that some of them remained in the land of their captors. But your logic of 7 times punishment is flawed because of the Application.
Let me explain it to you. Suppose 5 million Jews were taken Captive. and after the period of captivity 4 million returned and 1 million did not return. If the Lord has to punish anybody, he will have to punish the 1 million who did not return. But according to your logic, the 4 million who did return has been bearing the punishment of captivity multiplied by 7 for the disobedience of the 1 million who did not return. That shows that God has poor judgement. It sounds quite illogical. I hope you understood it.

Anyway I will listen to Mr Daniel Raj and will respond. Thank you.

      • @Admin

Can you look into “How many % of Israelites came out of Exile of Babylon?”. I have heard a sermon (Not from TPM) that less than 1% Israelites came out of Exile of Babylon. (As I don’t have the source link- I won’t be able to share that with you! One more thing, what you have shared: is the same thing ‘Daniel Raj’ has shared in this Bible study. I have only seen this video! Not any of his Videos regarding Book of Revelation!)

        • Brother,
Just a simple search will tell you that in the first Aliyah (return) after the Cyrus decree 50,000 Returned. We also know that they returned in groups for many years and there were many returnees.

Now to to know how much people returned, we cannot have any statistics. But we can make a guesstimate by knowing how much went. Moreover, we can do an of extrapolation assuming that they grew in 70 years.
Let me quote from the Jewish encyclopedia.

As regards the number of Jews deported by Nebuchadnezzar, there are two divergent reports. According to the statements in Jer. lii. 28-30, which must be accepted as the more reliable, as they certainly are the more complete, 3,023 Jews were deported in 597 B.C., 832 inhabitants of Jerusalem in 586, and 745 Jews in 582, making 4,600 persons in all. But in Biblical times, as to-day in Oriental countries, only the men were counted. Hence it follows that from 14,000 to 18,000 souls must have been deported to Babylon. The other statements, given in II Kings xxiv. 14, 16, refer only to the deportation of the year 597 B.C. Verse 14 states that 10,000 men were sent into exile; while according to verse 16 the number was 8,000. As the former verse is part of an addition to the original text, it will be necessary to adhere to the second, the figures in which, however, are more than twice as high as those given in Jeremiah. Now, if the figures as given in Jeremiah for the years 597, 586, and 582 be accepted as correct, the total number of exiles, taking into consideration II Kings xxiv. 16, will be 12,000 men, or in all 36,000 to 48,000 souls. Furthermore, if it be assumed that the total population of the kingdom of Judah was about 120,000 (the figures should probably be somewhat higher, as the country was at that time more densely populated than it is to-day), about one-fourth of the population (according to II Kings xxiv. 16) or, perhaps more correctly, one-eighth (according to Jer. lii. 28-30) was led captive into Babylonia.

So the 1% returned story is a baloney.
