In the previous three articles, we learned the history of the Children of Israel from the time they entered the land of Canaan. In this article, we will see the importance of Jews in the salvation of Mankind.

The Jews First

By the introduction of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, the Jewish people had a privilege. They were the first to get the Gospel. However, as a nation. they rejected the Kingdom proclaimed by the Messiah.

Japan is the land of the rising sun because it is the country where the sun rises first. Irrespective of how the Japanese treat the sun, the sun keeps travelling to the west. It keeps shining and gives light and life to every living being on this earth. It gives light to the Indian and the Pakistani alike. Jesus is also like the Sun. He does not belong to a particular nation, race, gender, religion etc. He is the Universal light and ONLY through him, mankind can get salvation. His Salvation is equally to the Jew and the Gentile.

The people that walked in darkness have seen a great light: they that dwell in the land of the shadow of death, upon them hath the light shined. Isa 9:2

For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek. Rom 1:16

But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.” Acts 1;8

There is a concept of JEW FIRST. That is possibly the reason why Paul used to start his gospel mission in a place starting with the Synagogues.

As was his custom, Paul went into the synagogue, and on three Sabbath days he reasoned with them from the Scriptures, Acts 17:2

The Gospel was preached for the first 3.5 years exclusively in Jerusalem. After the Martyrdom of Stephen, persecution arose in Jerusalem and many Christians were forced to leave Jerusalem and move to other parts of Judea and Samaria.

…At that time a great persecution arose against the church which was at Jerusalem; and they were all scattered throughout the regions of Judea and Samaria, except the apostles’ Acts 8:1

Throughout the first 9 chapters of the book of Acts, we see the gospel was concentrated among the Jewish people ONLY. After an explicit vision to Peter, the light of the gospel reached the gentiles. Later on, we see that  Paul was given the main responsibility of preaching the gospel among the gentiles.

For this cause I Paul, the prisoner of Jesus Christ for you Gentiles. Eph 3:1

The Rejection of the Messiah

Throughout the New Testament and Historical books, we find a certain pattern. The gospel FIRST REACHED THE JEWS. Only a few Jews would accept the Messiah and a majority would reject it at the behest of their leaders. As a result of their rejection, they also galvanise the pagans around to persecute the apostles who preached the gospel. This rejection was prophecied many years ago by David.

The stone which the builders refused has become the headstone of the corner. Psalm 118:22

Question. Do you want to know why was the Headstone of the Corner rejected by the builders?

Answer. They did not understand the blueprint of the building that was given in the Torah. Therefore, they kept rejecting the cornerstone. The cornerstone did not fit their supposed criteria to be placed in the corner. This cornerstone has a dividing attribute. It becomes a stumbling block to them that disbelieve and is a stone of hope for them that believe.

As it is written: “See, I lay in Zion a stone that causes people to stumble and a rock that makes them fall, and the one who believes in him will never be put to shame. Rom 9:33

Even today, they do not accept the Messiah. Jesus the Messiah has become a stumbling stone for them. They fall at the point of accepting Jesus as the Messiah. The Talmud ensures that they keep falling.  Paul says that this partial blindness will continue till the number of the Gentiles be fulfilled.

Scripture Blueprints

I do not want you to be ignorant of this mystery, brothers and sisters, so that you may not be conceited: Israel has experienced a hardening in part until the full number of the Gentiles has come in, Romans 11:25

As per the Jewish Rabbi Builders, they think that this Messiah is a proprietary thing for the Jews. They assume that in the Messianic age, the Jews will rule over the gentiles who are considered as lower humans. They could not imagine that the coming Age, the Messiah will be the Lord of both the Jews and the Gentiles. That premise messed up their understanding of the Messianic age.

12 That at that time ye were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without God in the world: 13 But now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ. 14 For he is our peace, who hath made both one, and hath broken down the middle wall of partition between us; 15 Having abolished in his flesh the enmity, even the law of commandments contained in ordinances; for to make in himself of twain one new man, so making peace;

This is a problem which happens when the original artist is not consulted for the building construction. When you build traditions and procedures around basic principles(blueprint), you end up in this predicament.

And in vain they worship Me, Teaching as doctrines the commandments of men.’ ” Matt 15:9

Most of the Jewish Clergy get sarcastic or Hysterical by just mention of the name of Jesus. The hate-filled Talmud Teachings remind them to blaspheme him. Fortunately, we have somebody who is not that type. Watch this small video which gives a summary of the reason why they do not accept Jesus as the Messiah. Many of their responses are trying to offer different interpretations sans Jesus. That is why Jesus does not fit in their understanding of the Blueprint.

Exercise for you: Think over the points raised by the Rabbi and try to respond in a satisfactory way. In case you have issues countering the interpretation by this Rabbi, just post a comment.

To this very day, the question of whether Jesus is or isn’t the Jewish Messiah is not even considered a valid question in Rabbinic Judaism. Anything that a rabbi writes about Jesus will be based on prejudice and the assumption that Jews should not be allowed to read the New Testament. Bound by this same prejudice, other Jewish people will often come to the same conclusion that Jesus is not the Messiah. Just like a blind man leading a blind man, if there is a deep hole in their way, they will both fall into the same hole. The rabbis don’t want you to know about Jesus, so for 2,000 years, they have been thinking up ways to conceal the truth about the most famous Jew who ever lived. The truth about Jesus is the best-kept secret in Judaism.

If you are blindly following your religious leaders(TPM White Clads) like how the Jews did, you will also end up in the same mess. Jesus said that the Jewish leaders are the ones that lead the Blind and they themselves are blind.

Leave them; they are blind guides. If the blind lead the blind, both will fall into a pit.” Matt 15:14

We have thoroughly exposed the evil doctrines preached by TPM through many articles, You have a choice. When your doctrines are proved as erroneous in the light of the scripture, there is no reason to stick on with that. Many jews have been led through the wrong path by their Rabbis. They also stick to their flawed interpretations.

Now all these things happened to them(Israelites and Jews) as examples, and they were written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the ages have come. 1 Cor 10:11

  1. At 4:14, Rabbi talks about Isaiah 53 and makes the following comments

“suffering servant is not a reference to an individual but to the overall faith of the Jewish people who have suffered through century after century of persecution and BEAR THE SINS OF THE WORLD and that is part of the mysterious REDEMPTIVE PROCESS that through suffering and destruction THERE IS

He says the above quoted text meaning – Jewish people suffer, bear the sins of the world and it is a mysterious redemptive process

Admin, please explain on what scriptural basis this can be explained…that Jews are chosen to bear the sins of the world, etc.

Isaiah 53:6 – …….the Lord has laid on him the iniquity of us all

Isaiah 53:10- ……. Lord makes his life an offering for sin

Isaiah 53:12- ……….For he bore the sin of many and made intercession for the transgressors

These verses clearly without any question points to Jesus that He without sin was made a sacrifice so that who believe in Him are redeemed and now He makes intercession for us…By believing in Him we receive His spirit and experience new birth……..I really cannot understand how Jewish people can replace Jesus in this context?

But one thing I can understand, both Jews and TPM are very skillful in replacing Jesus with themselves 🙂

    • //Admin, please explain on what scriptural basis this can be explained…that Jews are chosen to bear the sins of the world, etc.
If you read through Isa 53 anybody will know that this is not about the jews. Yes the Jews have TPM as their friends in claiming to bear the iniquities of others.
Many of the verses prove that it is not a nation. especially vs 8 which clearly says that HE WAS CUT OFF FROM THE LAND OF THE LIVING. This same echoes with Daniel 9:26.
This one cannot be applied to Israel as at no point in time, the Jewish race was completely CUT OFF FROM THIS EARTH. This chapter is very much disliked by the Rabbis. Its called the FORBIDDEN CHAPTER

The ancient Midrash (Commentaries) to the TaNaKh says the following about the messiah

“Ephraim, our true Messiah, even though we are thy forbears, thou art greater than we, because thou didst suffer for the iniquities of our children, and terrible ordeals befell thee. For Israel thou didst become a laughing stock and a derision among the nations of the earth; And didst sit in darkness, in thick darkness, and thine eyes saw no light and thy skin cleaved to thy bones, and thy body was as dry as a piece of wood; and thine eyes grew dim from fasting, and thy strength was dried up like a potsherd (Psalm 22: 16), All these afflictions on account of the iniquities of our children.” (Pesikta Rabbati 37: 137).

      Another Midrash says the following

“During the seven year period preceding the coming of the son of David, Iron beams will be brought low and loaded upon His neck until the Messiah’s body is bent low. Then He will cry and weep, and His voice will rise to the very height of heaven, and He will say to God: Master of the universe, how much can my strength endure? How much can my spirit endure? How much my breath before it ceases? How much can my limbs suffer? Am I not flesh and blood? …During the ordeal of the son of David the Holy One, blessed be He, will say to him: Ephraim, My true Messiah, Long ago, ever since the six days of creation, thou didst take this ordeal upon thyself. At this moment, thy pain is like my pain. At these words, the Messiah will reply: ‘Master of the Universe, now I am reconciled. The servant is content to be like his Master.’” (Midrash Pesikta Rabbati, 36: 2).

The Word Ephraim is used to refer to Messiah because it is understood that Messiah is the Son of Joseph, also the Son of David

  2. None, save the Torah, of the Jewish writings no matter how old are scripture. NONE other is God’s word for true Jews. Even so, the Jew is blinded and cannot escape his quandary and that is the Messiah has not yet come (in their minds) and there is no temple and no sacrifice left for sins. Looking to the non-biblical Jewish writings is foolhardy.
