In the process of interviewing some respondents regarding the Fasting of TPM, one thing that became very evident is that they are doing it to become better than the Pharisees. They do this not knowing what Jesus said. Therefore, they end up becoming extreme Pharisees. These extreme Pharisees can also be called the TPM Pharisees.
The TPM Clergy has their brains wired in such a way that they are always in a competitive mentality. I doubt if they have gotten it from the Indian education system. They always want to compare themselves with others. That is the reason which makes them say that they are the BEST CHURCH. Such a disposition is Foolishness according to the scripture.
We do not dare to classify or compare ourselves with some who commend themselves. When they measure themselves by themselves and compare themselves with themselves, they are not wise. 2 Cor 10:12.

Steps to becoming a Pharisee
TPM Clergy’s twisted brain does not know what the simple Tax collector knew. There are a total of 613 laws in the Old Testament. These laws were given with the purpose that we realize it is impossible for us to fulfil God’s law in our Flesh. But well, the Pharisees had different plans. They wanted to challenge God. They wanted to prove that they can fulfil all of those 613. In reality what they did is that they put a checklist for people to follow. This is very much like the quality assurance of a manufacturing unit.
When the law is followed without the Spirit, you are in violation of that law. What you have, is an external covering without its core or a corrupted core.
Let me cite an example with the Sabbath Commandment.
8 Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy. 9 Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work: 10 But the seventh day is the sabbath of the Lord thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates: 11 For in six days the Lord made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the Lord blessed the sabbath day and hallowed it. Exodus 20:8-11
When you interpret the above on a technical basis, without the spirit, you will exactly interpret as the Pharisees did.
But when you understand the commandment with the true Spirit, you will understand that the Technicality is not the only consideration.
One Sabbath, when Jesus went to eat in the house of a prominent Pharisee, he was being carefully watched. 2 There in front of him was a man suffering from abnormal swelling of his body. 3 Jesus asked the Pharisees and experts in the law, “Is it lawful to heal on the Sabbath or not?” 4 But they remained silent. So taking hold of the man, he healed him and sent him on his way.5 Then he asked them, “If one of you has a child[a] or an ox that falls into a well on the Sabbath day, will you not immediately pull it out?” 6 And they had nothing to say. Luke 14:1-6
Pharisees never needed a saviour. The TPM Pharisees also don’t need one. They know that they can live and justify themselves before God by their works of self-righteousness.
I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance. Luke 5:32
The Making of a TPM Pharisee
If following the requirements of God’s law is like lifting a sack of wt 500Kg Gold, The Pharisees were lifting a sack with 500Kg of Sand. But What TPM does is labelling a sack as 550 KG Gold and filling it with paper inside and showing to the world that they have lifted 550 KG of Gold.
The Pharisees at least followed those laws in the Old Testament according to the letters. If you follow the Law in the letter without the Spirit, you are just lifting up a sack of Sand.
And we have such trust through Christ toward God. 5 Not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think of anything as being from ourselves, but our sufficiency is from God, 6 who also made us sufficient as ministers of the new covenant, not of the letter but of the [a]Spirit; for the letter kills, but the Spirit gives life. 2 Cor 3:4-6
The Purpose of the Law was not for us to technically follow it but to understand that we are incapable to meet God’s Righteousness. The Law will make us understand that we need a Saviour.
Wherefore the law was our schoolmaster to bring us unto Christ, that we might be justified by faith. Gal 3:24
because through Christ Jesus the law of the Spirit who gives life has set you[a] free from the law of sin and death. 3 For what the law was powerless to do because it was weakened by the flesh,[b] God did by sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh to be a sin offering.[c]And so he condemned sin in the flesh, 4 in order that the righteous requirement of the law might be fully met in us, who do not live according to the flesh but according to the Spirit. Romans 8:2-4
TPM’s Doctrine in a Nutshell
What TPM Pastors does is that they piggyback on Christ’s Righteousness and selectively implement Old Testament Mandates to bring out a Hybrid. That is why TPM Believers do not know what is salvation. For them, Salvation is following their Pastor’s checklist which comes in different forms of sermons. Some of the requirements of TPM’s Salvation is as follows
- Believe in Their Divine Healing Doctrine
- Obeying their Clergy
- Wearing White Dress always
- Not missing out on any meetings or conventions
- Regularly Giving of monetary Tithe
- Labouring for different conventions
With mundane lists like the above, you should not be surprised that an average TPM believer does not know what is the Salvation that Christ Gives.
Exceeding the Righteousness of the Pharisee
When Jesus said that to enter the kingdom of Heaven we need to exceed the righteousness of the Pharisee, TPM’s twist took even that in its stride.
For I tell you that unless your righteousness surpasses that of the Pharisees and the teachers of the law, you will certainly not enter the kingdom of heaven. Matt 5:20
Jesus knew that the Pharisees were taking up Sand instead of Gold. What TPM Pastors understood was to increase the weight of Sand.
There is only one way we can attain the Gold Standard of God and that is through Christ. Nothing can replace that Gold Standard.
God made him who had no sin to be sin for us so that in him we might become the righteousness of God. 2 Cor 5:21
Because they were ignorant of God’s righteousness and sought to establish their own, they did not submit to God’s righteousness Romans 10:3
The Parable of the Pharisee and the Tax Collector
TPM Derives its doctrine of exceeding the righteousness of Pharisee from the following scripture.
9 To some who were confident of their own righteousness and looked down on everyone else, Jesus told this parable: 10 “Two men went up to the temple to pray, one a Pharisee and the other a tax collector. 11 The Pharisee stood by himself and prayed: ‘God, I thank you that I am not like other people—robbers, evildoers, adulterers—or even like this tax collector. 12 I fast twice a week and give a tenth of all I get.’
That is why TPM Pastors insist on Fasting 3 or more days and giving 20% monetary tithe to be above the Pharisees. In the process, they consider all others as degraded people. I still am clueless why they could not read the two following verses written just below it and is part of the same parable.
13 “But the tax collector stood at a distance. He would not even look up to heaven, but beat his breast and said, ‘God, have mercy on me, a sinner.’14 “I tell you that this man, rather than the other, went home justified before God. For all those who exalt themselves will be humbled, and those who humble themselves will be exalted.” Luke 18:13-14
The Proud Pharisee cannot realize what the Tax Collector realised. The Pharisee was full of himself whereas the tax collector had nothing to boast.
Conclusion
Romans 10:5 says that whoever follows the law of Moses will live by that. There was only one person who fulfilled the Law of Moses in its entirety. He came to fulfil it and not abolish the Law.

If we also live in the same spirit as Jesus, we will continue to fulfil the Law the same way Jesus showed us.
- He showed us that the Good Samaritan had that Spirit which the Levite and the Priest who abided by the literal law did not have.
- He Showed us the same Spirit in the Shepherd who went after the one sheep, leaving the 99
- He showed the same spirit when he confronted the money changers who facilitated the Temple tithe.

But we also have another choice. That is the way of the Pharisees. We can go after the letter of the law and ignore the spirit of the Law. The choice is yours. You can become a TPM Minister or the Tax Collector in the parable.
This is exactly what is being preached nowadays vehemently by all young preachers in TPM.

I know an X TPM minister who was taking care of Pr Manoharan whenever he visits Kottarakkara. He told me many times that Pr Manoharan told him not to give too much emphasis on TPM Zion doctrine which does not have any scriptural base. He further told me since he was following the advices of Pr Manoharan, he could adjust to new environment without much difficult unlike other X TPM minsters.
This Zion doctrine also is an exceeding the righteousness of TPM Pharisees.
TPM doctrine is luciferian according to scriptures.
Consider the following:
Exclusivity in communion.
Zion agenda.
No other churches can… doctrine.
Marketing gimmicks of material blessings through tithing or curses for non compliance.
It leaves mental and emotional footprints on members who try to quit/reason.
I know an aged lady who is an ex TPM but her daughter attends the church… she has been actively encouraged by the clergy not to emotionally/financially support her mother, but to do so with conditions, in a way in which the mother can once again become a regular church goer.
(Background: the aged aunty had in the 80’s itself received a revelation not to give tithes as a taxation, but out of generosity… this did not go down well with the clergy who tolerated her for decades… now she is old and helpless and she is made to humbly request her daughter for help from time to time)
I as an x TPMer was asked to intervene and put sense to the daughter’s head… she says I know it’s incorrect, but they keep telling me that taking care of parents is compulsory only if they are saved (TPM version of being saved)… there’s no binding on taking care of those who fell from grace (left the church). She gave me a list of verses so fluently that I knew she was parroting what the local mafia in Bangalore have fed her. Irrelevant verses like Abram leaving his father’s house etc (according to them Abram threatened to leave his house and that forced his immediate family to join him). Also verses like I will come to turn family member against the other (Matt 10.35) are used as their refutations.
I am writing these details so that both of them can read this comment and understand how seriously flawed TPM’s marketing ethics is.
If YOU are reading this: Please know that taking care of your own… especially parents is not just a Biblical duty but also the law of the land.
(For those who think I am slandering in disguise, note that God has not forsaken that lady but has often used Hindu neighbors to help her graciously)

Yeah, the Q A ( quality assurance) has got one more wing called QC( quality control) in the typical manufacturing plant while inspecting the finished product the QC department simply follows the design drawing and its parameters. If there are any dimensional discrepancy QC has got every right to reject component. In that event, designer will come into play , he would enhance his own design parameters so as to accommodate the manufacturing deviations.Then it will be again referred to QC for its final acceptance. QC will raise a note called — NCR( non conformance report). Designer will sign on that.( nobody is allowed to sign except the Designer). Like that the process goes on for these worldly systems and procedures. But in the spiritual realm the norms will be much more stringent who knows.For example the Bible says in Matthew 5:48 . Here in the spiritual realm ,JESUS is our Designer/ our Creator. Bible is our DESIGN DOCUMENT.
