Exposing The Modern Tithe Lie – 2In the last article, we saw that the tithe is not money and there is no scriptural basis for converting it to money. Therefore, if your pastor insists of giving the tithe to him, get him a few bags of rice and pulses.  Oh!! he is not even qualified for that. That is because the tithing rule asks you to share your tithe with the Levites, the widows, orphans and the underprivileged Deut 14:22-27,26:12-13

The scripture does not give anybody the leverage to bypass it and give it to somebody who prides himself as a TPM Pastor.  He may claim that he is a Levite. But then please ask him the DNA report which proves that he is a descendant of the tribe of Levi which I am sure the Anna from Tamil Nadu or the Appachen from Kerala will not be able to produce. Nobody other than the one that is born in the tribe of Levi can claim to be a Levite. Any Indian claiming to be a Levite is a Fraudite(Fraudster).

Inspect for yourself each part of the scripture before you choose to believe or not.

And through covetousness shall they with feigned words make merchandise of you: whose judgment now of a long time lingereth not, and their damnation slumbereth not. 2 Peter 2:3

Some More facts about administering the tithe

There are three times a year when the Israelite goes to the Tabernacle and it is the third visit he goes with the yearly tithe. Each of these feasts constitutes a celebration of a few days.

1Three times thou shalt keep a feast unto me in the year. 15 Thou shalt keep the feast of unleavened bread: (thou shalt eat unleavened bread seven days, as I commanded thee, in the time appointed of the month Abib; for in it thou camest out from Egypt: and none shall appear before me empty:) 16 And the feast of harvest, the firstfruits of thy labours, which thou hast sown in the field: and the feast of ingathering, which is in the end of the year, when thou hast gathered in thy labours out of the field.17 Three times in the year all thy males shall appear before the Lord God.

The giver administered the tithe! The one tithing was responsible for using it or distributing it, to family, the poor, or the Levites as they saw fit. While the tithe was ceremonially offered to God at the temple via the Levitical priesthood, this did not transfer the right (or privilege) of administration to the priest or the temple. God, as the owner of the tithe, had every right to assign this administration to whomever He willed. He chose the people.

12 When thou hast made an end of tithing all the tithes of thine increase the third year, which is the year of tithing, and hast given it unto the Levite, the stranger, the fatherless, and the widow, that they may eat within thy gates, and be filled;13 Then thou shalt say before the Lord thy God, I have brought away the hallowed things out of mine house, and also have given them unto the Levite, and unto the stranger, to the fatherless, and to the widow, according to all thy commandments which thou hast commanded me: I have not transgressed thy commandments, neither have I forgotten them.  Deuteronomy 26:12-13

The amount of tithe offering to be shared with the Levite is entirely the prerogative of the giver.

Levites derived all their support directly or indirectly from the temple, yet this did not mean that everything taken to the temple was theirs. It was not only the tithe that was eaten by the giver. Even with most of the sacrifices, the giver and family normally ate them, with only a portion of the whole being given to help the priests who were also Levites (1 Samuel 1:4, 2:13-14). In regards to the gift of the tithe given to the Levites, the priests, in turn, ate it with their family or household, except a tenth of it, which was given to the high priest. Though not explicitly told so, it would follow that the high priest and his household (servants, etc.) would consume this final tenth.

It is extremely important to understand that the whole tithe was not a gift to the temple or priests. Earlier in the book of Numbers, after mandating that restitution for wrongs must be paid to the person wronged, or their family, it then stated that this restitution was to be given to the priest if no close relative could be found. In making clear that it was an outright gift to the priest, this subsequent statement is made:

And every offering of all the holy things of the children of Israel, which they bring unto the priest, shall be his. 10 And every man’s hallowed things shall be his: whatsoever any man giveth the priest, it shall be his. Numbers 5:9-10

Notice that only that which was given to the priest now belonged to the priest. The sacred gifts, which included the tithe that was to be consecrated by the priests, remained the property of the giver! The only exception for the tithe would be a portion given to the Levites – this now belonged to the Levites.

What do the Levites and the Priests do with the Tithe?

This section is to be remembered for the next article. The next article will break open and scatter all the lies your pastor has told you regarding tithe, quoting from Malachi.

The Priests are supposed to be tithing from the tithes they received from the people. But one important aspect of the priestly tithe is to ensure that they give the best of the tithes they received. They are obligated, not to give the lame, maimed or the defective ones.

28 Thus ye also shall offer a heave offering unto the Lord of all your tithes, which ye receive of the children of Israel; and ye shall give thereof the Lord‘s heave offering to Aaron the priest.29 Out of all your gifts, ye shall offer every heave offering of the Lord, of all the best thereof, even the hallowed part thereof out of it. Numbers 18:28-29

Contrast the above condition with the tithe of the Children of Israel. An Israelite does not have any mandate to give the best as the tithe. He is just required to give what is the 10th irrespective of the health.

30 “‘A tithe of everything from the land, whether grain from the soil or fruit from the trees, belongs to the Lord; it is holy to the Lord.31 Whoever would redeem any of their tithes must add a fifth of the value to it. 32 Every tithe of the herd and flock—every tenth animal that passes under the shepherd’s rod—will be holy to the Lord. 33 No one may pick out the good from the bad or make any substitution. If anyone does make a substitution, both the animal and its substitute become holy and cannot be redeemed.” Lev 27:20-33

Conclusion

In this article, we understood some facts about administering the tithe

  1. The giver will share the tithe with the Levites and the Fatherless, Stranger(foreigner) and Widows as per his own free choice. There is no mandate on how much he shares. The Primary participants are the Giver’s household.
  2. The Tithe is observed only once in a year depending upon the increase from the previous year. The third feast(Feast of ingathering) is the time when the tithe is presented. This is because only at the end of the year, you will know if you increased or not.
  3. It is a Family Celebration and not a Payment to some temple tax authority.
  4. The Levite is a person who is born in the Tribe of Levi. A Christian Church Elder cannot claim to be a Levite to institute the tithe.
  5. The Tithe has to be observed in the place where the Lord had chosen to put his tabernacle (Jerusalem) and not in the Local TPM Church.
  6. The giver of the tithe is the administrator and not the Levite or the Priests.
  7.  The Levite and the Priest have to tithe on the tithe that he received from the people of Israel.
  8. When the Levite tithes, he cannot tithe any defective things unlike that of the children of Israel. If you are a priest, God demands quality above quantity. Only an agro tithe can account for quality. A monetary tithe cannot account for quality.

Next time the local TPM Church Pastor tries to bring you under the Tithe ordinance of the Old Testament Law, let him know this information along with the ones in the previous article. The Biblical Levites are not supposed to own any inheritance and hence should not be owning any land(Numbers 18:20). Here we have with us a group of dangerous people who have twisted that by forming an organization and registering huge swathes of land in the name of the organization by a deceptive fundraising mechanism. They have built huge mansions and halls for themselves but still, claim to be Levites. They fool people saying that the land is not in their personal name. They live off the people’s hard earned money by manipulating them. The tithe is the most favourite of their tricks. Such tricks work among people who have regarded TPM’s deception above the scripture. Now that you know the TPM white clads have not got any reason to fleece you, be cautious. Stay away from such false teachers.

    • Brother,
Levitical Priesthood was abolished for ever when the Veil was rent.(Matthew 27:51)
If therefore perfection were by the Levitical priesthood, (for under it the people received the law,) what further need was there that another priest should rise after the order of Melchisedec, and not be called after the order of Aaron? Heb 7:11

We are priests according to the new order of Melchisedek and there is no separate priestly class as was with the Levitical one. ALL OF US ARE PRIESTS.

But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light; 1 Peter 2:9

        • The Levites get their provision from many other offerings offered by the Israelites, non-Sin offerings, grain offerings, drink offerings, Heave offerings, Wave offerings apart from the firstfruits are where the Levites partake.
The Levites will also have their own small land in the city(colony) where they will have their own milch animals and their vegetable garden.

Do you know why the modern Christian fake Levites do not make use of those scriptures for income? It is because they are optional and based on some conditions and the size is unpredictable. But fooling people for the 10% Tithe gives them a good chunk on a regular basis…All these moneychangers need to be identified and exposed.
