If you are a TPM Believer, you might have approached your clergy with different prayer requests. Try to recollect the last time you asked your clergy to pray for something spiritual. I can assure you that 99.99% of the time this kind of prayer requests are for physical or material needs. Either it is for some deliverance from Sickness, Job, Promotion, Business, House, Car, some problems etc. By such prayer requests, you need not even think hard to know the focus of life for a TPM Believer. This situation keeps getting worse because the TPM Minister also does not rebuke or correct the believer. How could he correct them? He is no better than them as he is a product of the mammon system. He thinks of the money that will pour into his pockets as a result of such prayers.
First Century Apostles vs TPM Fake Apostles
Carnal Leaders (Fake Apostles) will produce Carnal People. Real Apostles will produce Spiritual People. TPM Ministers are preparing people for a miserable future after death.
If in this life only we have hope in Christ, we are of all men most miserable. 1 Cor 15:19
TPM Believers are of the view that they will be jettisoned by their ministers to New Jerusalem. All that they have to do is regularly attend their meetings, pay a good amount of money, treat and respect them well and all kinds of religious things that TPM Clergy demands. What a great delusion they are in? Is it not the fulfilment of 2 Thess 2: 11-12?
11 And for this, cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: 12 That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.
Now Consider the First Century Apostles
Below are some verses we get from the New Testament in which the apostles explain the content of their prayers (Underlined Texts)
15 Wherefore I also, after I heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus, and love unto all the saints,
16 Cease not to give thanks for you, making mention of you in my prayers;
17 That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him:
18 The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints,
19 And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power,
20 Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places,
21 Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come:
14 For this cause I bow my knees unto the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ,
15 Of whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named,
16 That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man;

9 For this cause we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you, and to desire that ye might be filled with the knowledge of his will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding;
10 That ye might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God;
11 Strengthened with all might, according to his glorious power, unto all patience and longsuffering with joyfulness;
12 Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light:
13 Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son:
Now contrast the content of Paul’s prayers with that of TPM Fake apostles where they get up early and repeat ten Sthothrams loudly for each family with ZERO Understanding of the real need of those people. This is a Pagan Practice which you will not find anywhere in the bible, rather you will find that Christ rebukes such vain repetitions (Matt 6:7).
Proverbs 27:4 says that such blessings early in the morning are counted as a curse. Such things are just manipulations to control the people.
14 He that blesseth his friend with a loud voice, rising early in the morning, it shall be counted a curse to him.
GOD HATES SHOW-OFF AND MANIPULATIONS
Conclusion
A Parent will always understand his/her kid demanding for toys or dolls when they are young kids. But the parent will be really worried if the Son/Daughter asks for toys and dolls when they are 20 or more. This is the same scenario in TPM. The entire denomination is living for Material and Physical needs. Was that the way Jesus or his disciples behaved? Jesus was very much involved in his Father’s business right from his childhood. Contrast that with the toy /doll players of TPM.
And he said unto them, How is it that ye sought me? wist ye not that I must be about my Father’s business? Luke 2:49
For Jesus, his material needs were just unimportant. Look at how he responded to his disciples who came with food when he was hungry in his body.
31 Meanwhile, his disciples urged him, “Rabbi, eat something.” 32 But he said to them, “I have food to eat that you know nothing about.”33 Then his disciples said to each other, “Could someone have brought him food?” 34 “My food,” said Jesus, “is to do the will of him who sent me and to finish his work.
Do you even think that with such attitude the TPM Believers or Ministers even be considered as legitimate Disciples or Children of God knowing that they are always looking for things on earth?
Set your minds on things that are above, not on things that are on earth. Col 3:2
They can never have the mind of Christ but they possess the Mind of a Cult.
5 Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus: 6 Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God: 7 But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men: 8 And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross. Phil 2:5-8
I don’t agree with this, in our TPM church our brother always insists to pray for spiritual blessings than material blessings. In most of our local churches we hear the same type of sermon to seek for spiritual blessings from God. May be you could have seen this behaviour in TPM churches outside India or Tamil nadu.

You need to quantify the word “Spiritual Blessings” that the Clergy wants for you. Just adding the word “Spiritual” does not really mean Spiritual. Do you know that the below is considered as Spiritual Blessings in TPM
1. Attending meetings regularly
2. Testifying regularly in the meetings
3. Not taking medicines when you are sick and if you happen to die, you become a martyr
4. Obeying the leaders without any questioning.
5. Shouting out loud in unknown tongues to let others know of your anointing
6. Attending Conventions especially Chennai Conventions.
7. Cooking in conventions etc
8. etc etc
Have you ever heard the TPM Pastors praying for the same content as Paul in the quoted verses? If they would have really prayed, it would mean them hitting at the root of their Doctrine. People will get spiritually enlightened and ask Biblical questions for which they will have no reply. The end result of all Spiritual Blessing needs to be an internal transformation.Do you see that happening?
The issue is so endemic that yesterday at the Sharjah TPM one of the translator (he is second generation TPM) stood up to testify and openly endorsed one particular MOG stating that “Bro. XYZ was of great blessing to us as we would approach him regularly with many issues to which he prayed and we got deliverance'”. Now instead of shooing him away, asking him to be on the knees and establish direct relation with the Father, the MOG would patronize and continue to mediate for his carnal needs and when this gets endorsed in public as result oriented practice, dozens would try to emulate .
