TPM Connecting the Unconnected – Noah’s Nakedness

This is the next common objection of TPM fanatics towards our site (https://www.fromtpm.com). We have even seen some comments on this site on those lines.  When exposed of their wicked deeds, they have the audacity of twisting scriptures before their hapless believers who think that their own understanding is somehow sub-standard to the clergy one.

So this particular defense of TPM clergy goes this way.  They say that this site is displaying the nakedness of TPM Clergy just as Ham did for Noah. Therefore the inference is that this site’s people are cursed by them. Sadly they are yet to get out of the curse-mania they have cultivated within themselves.  Let us check the scriptures and an explanation of the incident as per a reputed Christian website gotquestions.org .

Genesis 9:20-25 tells us, “Noah, a man of the soil, proceeded to plant a vineyard. When he drank some of its wine, he became drunk and lay uncovered inside his tent. Ham, the father of Canaan, saw his father’s nakedness and told his two brothers outside. But Shem and Japheth took a garment and laid it across their shoulders; then they walked in backward and covered their father’s nakedness. Their faces were turned the other way so that they would not see their father’s nakedness. When Noah awoke from his wine and found out what his youngest son had done to him, he said, ‘Cursed be Canaan! The lowest of slaves will he be to his brothers.’”

Why did Noah curse Canaan when it was Ham who saw him naked? Why was Noah so angry that Ham saw him naked? Some propose that Ham and/or Canaan actually did something to Noah in addition to seeing him naked. The passage mentions that Noah was angry when he found out “what his youngest son had done to him.” Homosexuality, rape, and humiliation are frequently mentioned as possibilities. One rabbinic teaching is that Ham or Canaan castrated his father. However, the text nowhere states what Ham did to Noah. Any theory of what occurred is speculation.

Another view arises out of comparison with Leviticus 20:11, “The man who lies with his father’s wife has uncovered his father’s nakedness…” With Leviticus 20:11 in mind, some propose that Ham had sex with Noah’s wife, and that was what brought the curse from Noah. However, this figurative understanding of “uncovering nakedness” fails to account for the fact that Shem and Japheth walked into the room backward and covered Noah with a garment. This does not make any sense if “uncovering nakedness” means “having sex with Noah’s wife.” It definitely seems that Noah was lying naked—his nakedness uncovered.

Whatever took place between Ham and Noah, why did Noah curse Ham’s son Canaan, when Canaan is nowhere mentioned as having done anything? The Bible does not specifically answer this question. Ham was Noah’s youngest son, and Canaan was probably Ham’s youngest son (Genesis 10:6). The “youngest son” who mistreated Noah (Genesis 9:24) seems to be a reference to Ham, but another option is that it refers to Canaan, Noah’s youngest grandson. Calling a grandson a “son” is not uncommon in Scripture (cp. Ezra 5:1 and Zechariah 1:1). This would mean that Canaan was somehow involved in the sordid incident, and that is why Noah specifically mentions him in the curse (verse 25). Ham saw his father’s condition and did nothing about it except to tell his brothers. Reading between the lines, we assume that Ham’s son did more than see but participated somehow in his grandfather’s degradation.

Connecting the unconnected

Whatever be the case, it is undoubtedly an issue of Noah’s physical shame and its covering. But see how cunningly the TPM fanatics connect a physical shame incident to cover up their deceptive doctrines and practices. In fact, TPM clergy is even guilty of doing what Ham did. They are the one shaming and excommunicating believers for being drunk or any other sinful things they happen to do?  Do you know the canard of lies that they spin and put in the gossip stream after one of them leaves their ministry?

I thank God for Moses and other Scripture authors who did not shy away from recording the happenings as it is.  They did not worry about Shaming Noah, Lot, Abraham or others before putting it out in the open for everybody to read. Why are the TPM ministers ashamed of their doctrines and their carnal behaviors? Those days where they could push it under the carpet are gone.

What should we cover up and what should we expose?

Covering up Physical Nakedness

We all should endeavor to cover up the physical nakedness / natural shame of our fellow human beings and especially our Christian brethren.  This is one parameter where Jesus will judge us on the last day.

³⁶ I was naked and you clothed me, I was sick and you visited me, I was in prison and you came to me.’ ³⁷ Then the righteous will answer him, saying, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you drink? ³⁸ And when did we see you a stranger and welcome you, or naked and clothe you? ³⁹ And when did we see you sick or in prison and visit you?’ ⁴⁰ And the King will answer them, ‘Truly, I say to you, as you did it to one of the least of these my brothers,^[a] you did it to me.’   Matthew 25:36-40

In the above scripture, Jesus is not speaking about the spiritual nakedness caused by evil work or deceptive doctrines.  It is about PHYSICAL NAKEDNESS. The problem with Ham was that he did not cover up his dad’s physical nakedness and went around and told this to others.

Expose wicked Deeds even of the powerful ones.

Think of what David did when the prophet Nathan confronted him about adultery and murder, sins that could have required him to be put to death for! Here it was much more than the mental agony of owning up to the guilt of his sins; there was also the possibility of losing his life. But David said, “I have sinned against the Lord” (2 Samuel.12:13). What did the Lord do to him? He was forgiven immediately. Of course, he suffered many consequences because of his sin, but he was totally forgiven by God, and God continued to call him ‘a man after God’s own heart‘ (Acts 13:22). What would have happened to him if he had tried instead to cover up his sins?

Now consider how would TPM clergy react to a person who does the same as Nathan did? I am sure it would be ignored and covered up with all their machinery at their disposal. What do we do when we have sinned or made a mistake? Do we also try to cover it up hoping that no one would notice, avoid thinking about it in order to avoid the pain, pass on the blame to someone else so that we can feel safe, or justify it in our mind saying that we wouldn’t have done it except for the fact that someone or something else ‘made’ us do it? Then it shows us that we don’t really know God the way He really is.

All the cases of immoral activities published on this site are not the first attempt to confront. When locally confronted, they cover it up. Therefore those concerned believers are forced to get it out in the open to expose the wicked deeds of the Clergy. (Matt 18:15-17)

Take no part in the unfruitful works of darkness, but instead expose them. Ephesians 5:11

Expose Doctrinal Errors

TPM Ministers are not going to get away by teaching deceptive and wrong doctrines. Those days of leading people to your ZION HELL are gone. We will watch for all your doctrinal errors and will expose it through this site. We have an explicit command from the Lord regarding this, through the scriptures.

But even if we or an angel from heaven should preach a gospel other than the one we preached to you, let them be under God’s curse!  Galatians 1:8

I appeal to you, brothers, to watch out for those who cause divisions(In God’s Ekklesia) and create obstacles contrary to the doctrine that you have been taught; avoid them. For such persons do not serve our Lord Christ, but their own appetites, and by smooth talk and flattery they deceive the hearts of the naive.  Romans 16:17-18 

Conclusion

Dear Reader, let not the deceptive Gurus of TPM make you go in a tailspin by misquoting verses from the scripture. They are deceitful workers who do not handle the scripture in sincerity. If you get fed from this corrupt source, you will get into the corrupt hell.
