TPM Connecting the Unconnected – The Gamaliel Theory

The Charlatans of TPM are masters in connecting the unconnected. And unsurprisingly, it rings true to their brainwashed believers. This series is about few instances where our readers have written to us regarding this special skill acquired by TPM Ministers. All these twists and turns are done by the TPM leaders because they have not even one scriptural reply to our articles. They are exposed as charlatans.

The Gamaliel Theory

In one such instance of discussion between a TPM minister and one of our readers, the following is the explanation of TPM minister concerning our site (https://fromtpm.com).

The TPM Minister’s contention was that TPM is a Divine Organization that has been around 100 years. There have been many storms which have come against TPM and TPM has outlived all those storms proving that TPM is divinely ordained. He says nobody can stop TPM because of its supposed divine approval. To support this theory, they piggybacked on Gamaliel’s conclusion about Christianity in its early days. To get the complete context, we need to turn our pages to Acts 5:26-42

TPM Connecting the Unconnected - The Gamaliel Theory
Gamaliel putting forth his theory in Sanhedrin

26 At that, the captain went with his officers and brought the apostles. They did not use force, because they feared that the people would stone them.

27 The apostles were brought in and made to appear before the Sanhedrin to be questioned by the high priest. 28 “We gave you strict orders not to teach in this name,” he said. “Yet you have filled Jerusalem with your teaching and are determined to make us guilty of this man’s blood.”

29 Peter and the other apostles replied: “We must obey God rather than human beings! 30 The God of our ancestors raised Jesus from the dead—whom you killed by hanging him on a cross. 31 God exalted him to his own right hand as Prince and Savior that he might bring Israel to repentance and forgive their sins. 32 We are witnesses of these things, and so is the Holy Spirit, whom God has given to those who obey him.”

33 When they heard this, they were furious and wanted to put them to death. 34 But a Pharisee named Gamaliel, a teacher of the law, who was honored by all the people, stood up in the Sanhedrin and ordered that the men be put outside for a little while. 35 Then he addressed the Sanhedrin: “Men of Israel, consider carefully what you intend to do to these men. 36 Some time ago Theudas appeared, claiming to be somebody, and about four hundred men rallied to him. He was killed, all his followers were dispersed, and it all came to nothing. 37 After him, Judas the Galilean appeared in the days of the census and led a band of people in revolt. He too was killed, and all his followers were scattered.38 Therefore, in the present case I advise you: Leave these men alone! Let them go! For if their purpose or activity is of human origin, it will fail.39 But if it is from God, you will not be able to stop these men; you will only find yourselves fighting against God.”

40 His speech persuaded them. They called the apostles in and had them flogged. Then they ordered them not to speak in the name of Jesus, and let them go.

41 The apostles left the Sanhedrin, rejoicing because they had been counted worthy of suffering disgrace for the Name. 42 Day after day, in the temple courts and from house to house, they never stopped teaching and proclaiming the good news that Jesus is the Messiah.

The particular TPM minister was intending that as per Gamaliel’s theory, they can never be stopped just as the Jewish Sanhedrin could not stop the Apostles. He was comparing TPM with Apostles and the Jewish Sanhedrin as Fromtpm.com

Was Gamaliel Right?

To assume that Gamaliel’s logic is right is giving credence to a Pharisee teacher’s logic over the scripture. Does the scripture support Gamliel? we say an Emphatic NO to it. If Gamaliel was right, we should see it occurring time and again without any break, removing all counterfeits. But before we proceed further, let us point to a glaring issue that TPM Minister missed out.  In the Gamaliel sermon, the established Religion was Judaism and the little fellows were the Apostles. If you compare TPM with Fromtpm.com. TPM is the established religion and fromtpm is a small group which challenges the status quo. So even if somebody has to appeal and quote Gamaliel’s logic for an advantage, it has to be us(fromtpm) as we are the new entity and TPM is equivalent to the Pharisee infested Judaism.

Though God used Gamaliel’s speech to get his apostles from a tight spot, the Bible does not support the Gamaliel Theory.  If Gamaliel has to be Right, we should also have the consistency in claiming that Job’s friends were also right as they gave perfectly valid arguments which can sound right to any person. Moreover, it is recorded in the bible.  But God proclaimed at the end that Job was Right and his friends were wrong.

After the Lord had said these things to Job, he said to Eliphaz the Temanite, “I am angry with you and your two friends, because you have not spoken the truth about me, as my servant Job has. Job 42:7

Even though it is from the Bible, we are expected to check who is the speaker and what is the inspiration that drives their words. We just can’t accept any passage just because it is in the Bible. The Bible has words of Holy Men, words of God, words from Satan, words from normal people and also enemies of God’s people.  Shouldn’t we discern the passage before applying it to our lives?

So how do we know Gamaliel was not right? By the sheer fact that there are 33,000 denominations in Christendom and all of them claiming to be special for God. Is not that a simple test for any person to know? TPM is just 100 years old. But The Roman Catholic Church has a 1700-year-old heritage. So even if we compare and follow the Gamaliel Logic, RC has to be more right than TPM. The RC Proponents can claim that they weathered the Great Schism(Orthodox split) and Martin Luther’s attempt to break it. They can proudly claim that they are still existing and is 1.2 Billion strong. Will TPM fanatics agree to that RC logic? If no, then your TPM logic also gets trashed along with it.

Let us apply Gamaliel’s logic to another scenario. 1400 years ago a person claiming to be a prophet by name Mohammed preached in Arabia. He assembled a group of followers around himself. If this movement of Mohammed was from God, then it will last. If you oppose it you will find yourself resisting God. If this movement is not from God it will come to nothing. Well, Islam has been around for about 1400 years. Does that mean it is from God? This logic applies to all cults including Mormons, Jehovah’s witnesses, and many others.

Therefore Longevity is not a reason for being Right or Wrong.

Moreover, we can see in Revelation 17 about Babylon the mother of Harlots which rides on the beast. Its generally accepted that this Babylon and its daughters are various church organizations which have gone whoring after the world and its systems. If so, we can expect all these harlot church organizations including TPM to exist during the apocalyptic age.

But he said, ‘No, lest while you gather up the tares you also uproot the wheat with them. 30 Let both grow together until the harvest, and at the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, “First gather together the tares and bind them in bundles to burn them, but gather the wheat into my barn.”’” Matthew 13:29:30

Conclusion

Satan’s job is to plant counterfeits all over the place. That is why so many cults and denominations have risen up claiming their exclusivity. These have been happening for thousands of years and many will last a long time to make it look legitimate.

These denominations are the gates of Hell which is trying to prevail against the true Ekklesia of God. But they cannot prevail.

And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. Matt 16:18

So what does the Gamaliel theory interpretation of TPM Prove to us?

  1. Longevity is not a test of truth.
  2. The majority is not the test of truth.
  3. Being biblical is not the test of truth. Context and inspiration are important while interpreting the scriptures.
  4. Agreeing with Clergy or Pharisee is not the test of truth.

  1. Poor TPM leaders…stuffed again by their own logic. They keep lying to defend their original lie and they cannot stop now.

Excellent writing once again; in fact it is getting better with each new post.
