In Part-1 of this series we saw how TPM glorifies their own ministry and in the process lures their members into slavery. In this article we will look at how TPM steals God’s glory by making it sound as though they are equal to God. Of course, they will not blatantly say that, but the way they do it is very subtle. It is very easy to miss if you are caught up in TPM’s net. We hope this article will make you look at TPM’s teachings more closely and also think about how TPM has made you worship men instead of God

Trying to gain equal footing with God

Excerpts from TPM Publications

“When we rebel against God, against God’s servants and God’s counsel, and when we do not humble ourselves before the servants of God or our elders, then judgment will come.” (Voice of Pentecost, Oct 2002)
“Are you guilty of having angrily reacted at any time to the priests, the servants of God, and that too, in the Church, the house of God? If God has not stricken you with spiritual (and even physical) leprosy, do you realize that it is purely the mercies of God and that you have been given an extended period of time to repent?” (Voice of Pentecost, May 1992)

Here we see, TPM equates rebelling against God and rebelling against self-proclaimed “consecrated servants of God”. The consequences of rebelling against God and against the “servants of God” are the same according to TPM.
TPM survives because it has perfected the art of using threats and fear tactics to keep the congregation in line. Will you let these mere men have a stronghold in your life? As long as they do, you will be glorifying them instead of the God who created you.
Only the unregenerated are in rebellion against God. A child of God is reconciled to God and is at peace with God. And the peace talked about in Romans is an eternal peace that no one can take away. Yet TPM would like you to believe that your salvation is depending on how you humble yourself before the “servants of God” and obey everything TPM says.
Romans 5:10For if, while we were God’s enemies, we were reconciled to him through the death of his Son, how much more, having been reconciled, shall we be saved through his life!
Romans 5:1Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ,”

Excerpts from TPM Publications

“God wanted to dwell with man from the start, but until man realizes the need, God will also be silent. God expected His people to know what He is looking for —a sanctuary and holy place for Himself. Till the individual decides, the triune God, angels and servants of God will never enter into his life to fulfil this work.” (Voice of Pentecost, Feb 2003)

We know from scripture that salvation is an act of God alone. But according to TPM, It is a combined effort of God, angels and the “servants of God”.
TPM’s gospel is very man-centric. The real gospel is God-centric; salvation is for God’s glory and He is the one who starts and completes it.
Eph 2:8,9 “For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast.”

Excerpts from TPM Publications

“The Lord Jesus Christ is our Physician. Praising God is our tablet. The precious and holy blood of Jesus is our tonic. Confession of our sins is our diet. Our faith home is our hospital. The servants of God are the ones who guide us.” (Voice of Pentecost, Oct 2002)

TPM makes God as a mere accessory but they themselves are compared to a hospital. Scripture says the Holy Spirit is our guide. TPM usurps Him to say they are our guide. It is a case of the blind leading the blind and we all know how that turns out!
John 16:13 “But when he, the Spirit of truth, comes, he will guide you into all the truth. He will not speak on his own; he will speak only what he hears, and he will tell you what is yet to come.”
1 John 2:27 “As for you, the anointing which you received from Him abides in you, and you have no need for anyone to teach you; but as His anointing teaches you about all things, and is true and is not a lie, and just as it has taught you, you abide in Him.”

Excerpts from TPM Publications

“We need to give ourselves first to the Lord and then to the servants of God (II Cor. 8:5). This is the way to perfection chalked out by God. Any other way we devise cannot be accepted of God” (Voice of Pentecost, Oct 1995)

Glorifying their own consecrated ministry - 2A Christian is a person whose Lord is Jesus. He is Lord over everything. A Christian cannot have 2 masters. You cannot give yourselves to God and also to men who illegitimately calls themselves “apostles” and “servants of God”. With the kind of mind control and spiritual abuse in TPM, you’ll only end up following these men and not God. You will go to them for advice over your life and take their words as God’s word without question. You will listen to their doctrines and teachings and accept it as though it was delivered to them directly via a voice from heaven. This is deception and blindness. This is NOT the “way to perfection”. It is the way to a pitiful and sorrowful end.
We are perfect on account of the perfect sacrifice of Jesus, not based on our works. When God sees us, He sees the imputed righteousness of Christ in us.

We addressed the verse quoted here (2 Cor 8:5) in part-1 of this series and thoroughly refuted TPM’s claims.

Matt 6:24No one can serve two masters, for either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and money.

Heb 10:14For by one sacrifice he has made perfect forever those who are being made holy.”

Excerpts from TPM Publications

“Zion is the glory of New Jerusalem. Hence the glory of the congregation depends on the glorious life and ministry of the servants of God leading it.” (Voice of Pentecost, April 1992)

Here it is. This excerpt wins the “Most Heretical Quote of the Day” award. If words had an odour, it would have stank this place!
We know what TPM means by Zion, don’t we? It is the 144,000 self-proclaimed “consecrated servants of God”. We saw in part-1 how TPM says the glory of Zion will be in part because TPM ministers. Here, they go even further to say that the glory of New Jerusalem is Zion. The glory of a TPM believer is not because of the God who dwells in you, but because of the “life and ministry of the servants of God”.
If you don’t squirm reading this quote, you need to take a hard look at how much you have been deceived by TPM. They are in fact, “gods” of TPM believers who gives them glory for eternity. This is the worse form of idolatry.

Dear readers, we are giving you excerpts from TPM publications so that you may see how TPM glorifies their ministry instead of God. They don’t think twice before making themselves look equal to God and in some cases even bigger than God. The deception is in the subtlety. A blatant heretical statement can be easily detected, but the subtle ways in which TPM takes a hold of you, you’ll be in too deep before you realise you’re enslaved to it. We are believers are to treat every other believer as a brother/sister. There are no tiers in God’s kingdom as TPM would like you to believe. Creating such tiers of the elite and the cattle-class has led TPM into idolatry and worship of the “saints”. God is calling you away from slavery and into an experience of real joy and peace of the gospel of Jesus Christ.

  1. You can see this “replacement” of God with the “consecrated servants” proclaimed over and over again in many TPM sermons (or must I say in every TPM sermon)….it’s very subtle to recognize for TPM washed brains but if you look it from outside TPM lens there is no greater heresy than this.
I remember one TPM believer telling an incident in middle east and one of their family friend, a very good believer visited them and they took them to TPM for a Sunday service. Since the worship would be different they were quite careful and took her only for the sermon part. But she couldn’t even tolerate 10 mins of heresy preached in there and right in the middle of sermon just walked out and never returned!

    • Very True. I tolerated for Years together with constant fight in my family over this. They would not understand the Brainwash they are forced to go through.
Finally One Fine Day, Last Year, I was Pushed to start this site. Not willingly, but out of Coercion by the Spirit of God.

      • Post the photos of the excerpts you quote.
Otherwise it is possible you are editing the words to suit your needs.
Post all excerpts from the magazines with the exact photos from the books.

        • Dear Anonymous,
Did I not quote you the references with exact page numbers? If you think I am quoting(or misquoting) with malicious intentions, please go ahead and get that from TPM. Do some exercise for yourself and come back with your explanation. We are not here to do a back and forth with people who are sold out to a cultic organization. I think you have gotten used to getting things, the easy way.

        • Instead of stressing yourself out over these details why don’t you start a blog called and enlighten the admin and his stooges.

You appear to be a regular here and have forensically examined every word and you still don’t see the big picture. Have you by any chance authored any of these articles for TPM’s voice of P?

        • Years ago, TPM sold a software called “Pentecosoft”. If you can get your hands on that CD, you can verify every quote mentioned here. The CD contains every issue of VoP, Pilgrims’s Journal and the Tamil magazine. Also contains a few TPM books, school syllabus and few old TPM messages. We have presented every quote without editing anything. It is upto you to back up your (allegations?). We have nothing to hide.

  2. //Hence the glory of the congregation depends on the glorious life and ministry of the servants of God leading it.” ” (Voice of Pentecost, April 1992) //

Indeed one of the most heretical qoute …

Gospel teaches that Glory of Christ is our glory. We are made righteous/ holy / partaker of heavenly glory by perfect obedience of Lord Jesus Christ. ( Rom 5:19, II corn 5:21). His righteousness is imputed to our credit. His holiness is ours. Whatever we are we stand all because of him. But TPM has shown audacity to replace Jesus by saying glory of believers is glory of tpm ministers. Horrible! I’m short of words to describe heniousness of the statement.

I am amazed that when we speak about imputed righteousness of Christ, it does not go in their head, but alas, how quickly they accept glory of tpm ministers as their own glory !!!

  3. If you are trying to interpret “God wanted to dwell with man from the start, but until man realizes the need, God will also be silent. God expected His people to know what He is looking for —a sanctuary and holy place for Himself. Till the individual decides, the triune God, angels and servants of God will never enter into his life to fulfil this work” to “Salvation is a combined effort of God, angels and the “servants of God”, you are mistaken.
Can you take a picture of the entire article as found in the periodical referenced and post it here so the intent is clearly understood?

    • Anonymous, How is that mistaken? Indwelling of the Holy Spirit is what being born again is. Here TPM says “THIS WORK” (i.e indwelling of God) is fulfilled by “God+angels+servants of God” entering into the life of a sinner. For full context, let me post the entire paragraph.

“God can speak a word and has all power to cause it to come to pass. If God could make the sun, moon and the stars by His Word and form man out of the dust of the earth in less than a day, why is it taking so long for Him to prepare His eternal habitation, Zion and New Jerusalem? God has chosen man to be the building material for His habitation. Man’s freewill is not subject to God’s will, unless he willingly submits to it. For centuries now, God has been waiting with much forbearance for a group of people, the elect, to willingly offer themselves to fulfil His purpose. The triune God shares this great responsibility with dedicated people (the consecrated servants of God), and with the willing individual, the holy angels helping as ministering spirits. Exodus 15:2 is part of a song, which Moses sang when God gave the children of Israel victory over Pharaoh’s pursuing armies. Until then Moses had no clue as to how God would deliver them. Thus this song was not pre-composed, but was sung extempore—from Moses’ heart; and all Israel sang with him. Here for the first time, in recorded history, man expressed a desire, or need, for a habitation for God. “The Lord…He is my God, and I will prepare Him an habitation” Moses sang (Exo.15:2). Until this time God had not revealed His plan to man, but when God saw that man had received a desire in his heart, God started to speak to him in a more specific manner. From Exodus Chapter 25 onwards we find God commanding Israel to make a sanctuary for Him to dwell with them. Similarly David, who lived in a cedar palace, could not rest in peace as long as he saw the ark of God dwelling behind curtains. Thus he diligently sought God for this matter (Psa. 132:1-5) and God gave him the plans for the temple in writing (I Chron.28:19). God wanted to dwell with man from the start, but until man realizes the need, God will also be silent. God expected His people to know what He is looking for —a sanctuary and holy place for Himself. Till the individual decides, the triune God, angels and servants of God will never enter into his life to fulfil this work.

Here’s the thing. If you find we have altered even a SINGLE WORD in ANY of the QUOTES published on this site, we will take that article down. TPM has the soft copies of every magazine, you are free to procure it and check it yourselves. I won’t be playing “go fetch” anymore. The best we can do it give accurate information regarding the month and year of the magazine issue.

    • Since the article has been fully posted, it is clear that gospel preached by Tpm is man centric rather than God centric. To say God remains silent until man gives him permission (until man decides) is both unscriptural and abominable. Tpm shamelessly says ” God waited with forbearance for centuries…!!

John 15:16 Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, ……
( tpm in above post of vop teaches contrary to the scripture that man first chooses and until that time God chooses to remain silent!!! )

John 6: 44 No man can come to me, EXCEPT the Father which hath sent me draw him: …..

Rom 9:16 So then it is (salvation) not of him that willeth , nor of him that runneth, but of God that sheweth mercy.

James 1:18 Of his own will begat he us….

  4. The end justifies the means… a little twist here and a little lie there does not matter when the whole intention is to assist Christ in saving the stupid laity.

  5. In salem centre tpm church pas jayakumar in his message he told that those take medicine will not take place in the second coming of the Lord jesus christ. They are also not eligible to take holy communion. If they take part in the communian curse will be on there family. Ok those who are taking medicine they won’t take part when jesus appear in glory. Then why receiving offering. They can simply, announce that stop giving offering. Only those who are waiting for divine healing alone can give offering.
