Dispensationalism is one of TPM’s core teaching. TPM’s New Earth, New Heaven, New Jerusalem & Zion teaching is rooted and grounded in this Nelson Darby based teaching. Unfortunately, this teaching diminishes the glory of God in salvaging mankind. It puts a limit on atonement provided by the death of Jesus. The glory of the glorious work of the cross is covered by the so-called revelation of saints (revelation of dispensation). Sit back and see as we show you how teachings of TPM abuse Jesus Christ.
False Doctrine of Dispensation:
According to TPM, “Dispensation is a period of time in which God deals with his people according to particular law or statute and judges them by that law.” (Sunday School Std. 11 lesson 8). There are 10 dispensations defined by revelation given to TPM chief Pastors.
- Angelic dispensation
- Dispensation of Innocence
- Dispensation of conscience
- Dispensation of law
- Dispensation of Transition
- Dispensation of Grace
- Dispensation of tribulation
- Dispensation of great tribulation
- Millennial Reign,
Now, I am not saying that the period from Adam until us cannot be divided into a period of innocence, a period of law or a period of grace and so on. You can divide the period into “n” number of times as you wish and name it what you want to name it. I have no problems. But the whole idea to which I am dead against is that “God judges people in different ages by different standards.” Abraham will be judged according to conscience and David will be judged according to Mosaic Law. What this means is that if we take dispensation doctrine seriously then it implies that salvation of (being saved from the judgment of God) Abraham depends upon his good works and not upon his faith in Jesus. The Salvation of people of the Old Testament then according to this theory does not depend on works of Jesus on the cross. This teaching diminishes the glory of the cross of Jesus Christ. Jesus becomes saviour only for a world born after 1 A.D. According to TPM’s teaching, the existence of Jesus doesn’t really matter to people born before John the Baptist. However, scriptures inform us that they so much longed to see Messiah the Savior (Matt 13:17)!
Let us consider Abraham
Let me prove to you from the bible that Jesus is/was the only way of escape from the wrath of God, for any and every man living in any age. Read it again. Abraham will be saved on “Day of Judgment” not because of his good works or because he walked with God and so on! The only reason which the bible clearly mentions as a reason for his salvation is that he believed Messiah Jesus Christ just like we did. This is what Paul is trying to say in Romans 4.
What shall we say then that Abraham our father, as pertaining to the flesh, hath found? For if Abraham were justified by works, he hath whereof to glory; but not before God. For what saith the scripture? Abraham believed God, and it was counted unto him for righteousness (Rom 4:1-3).
What Paul means by “Abraham believed God” means that he believed the gospel of Jesus Christ preached by God to him. Shocking! Read what Paul says in Galatians,
And the scripture, …… preached before the gospel unto Abraham, saying, In thee shall all nations be blessed (Gal 3:8).
Are you still arguing? Wait! Listen to the testimony of Jesus himself.
Your father Abraham rejoiced to see my day: and he saw it, and was glad. John 8:56
When Jesus said this to Pharisees that Abraham will be saved because he believed in Jesus then Pharisees thought in the same way as people of our times think “Jesus was crucified 1000 years later to Abraham; how could Abraham believe Gospel?” This is how we think and wonder. Jesus was amazed at the unbelief of Pharisees. He said, “Why do you not understand my speech (John 8:43)?” Jesus testified about the salvation of Abraham by faith (as Paul preached in Romans 4 and Galatians 3:28) by saying “Before Abraham was, I am(John 8:58).” You can read this whole conversation between Jesus and Pharisees about Abraham’s salvation by his faith on Jesus in John 8.
Then said the Jews unto him, Thou art not yet fifty years old, and hast thou seen Abraham?
Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I am. (John 8:56-58)
So you can see that scriptures are very clear in saying that the salvation of Abraham was because of his faith in Jesus. Yet TPM teaches that Abraham will be saved by his good works or God will judge Abraham according to conscience. They teach that Abraham will go to new heaven even after his belief in Jesus. Are you beginning to see a loophole in revelations received by TPM pastors? Scriptures is not the authority for these people. Some kind of spirit that speaks to these chief pastors – which gives them self-name exalting revelation contrary to scripture is their foundation.
Are you still unconvinced that gospel was preached to people in the Old Testament? Read Epistle of Hebrews. There the author says that gospel was preached to people in the Old Testament as it is preached unto us. They looked forward to Jesus as their Messiah and we look backwards in history to Jesus as our saviour. Read Hebrews 4:2
For unto us was the gospel preached, as well as unto them ……(Heb 4:2).
So here we have two explicit statements in the bible which clearly say “gospel was preached to people living in the Old Testament Period.” First one is in Galatians 3:8 and next one is in Hebrews 4:2. First, it says the gospel was preached Abraham (a man before Mosaic dispensation – a man living in the period of conscience) and then we have witnessed of bible saying gospel was preached to Old Testament Israelites wandering in the wilderness (People living in the dispensation of Law).
But what does TPM teach? Or what is the teaching according to the revelation received by TPM chief pastors?
“Dispensation is a period of time in which God deals with his people according to particular law or statute and judges them by that law.” (Sunday School Std. 11 lesson 8).
Therefore based on such thinking TPM concludes that Abraham & saints of Old Testament will go to a third category place in eternity called new heaven, and these whitewashed sepulchres will go to highest and most glorious place in eternity called Zion. When Bible puts no difference between Abraham and us (by saying he believed the gospel and thus was saved by faith – not by works) these false teachers put Abraham in third category place in eternity and exalts themselves into most glorious place. Are you beginning to see why we say this doctrine of Zion is false teaching directly from the pit of hell? That is why we have been labouring to make you believe to come out of this cult called TPM which makes you believe in another gospel which neither Jesus nor apostles nor Paul preached.
Ok! I’ll highlight more of such clear verses from the bible which clearly informs us that saints in Old Testaments were preached the gospel and them somehow in some way unknown to us, believed in Jesus as their saviour. They looked forward to the future towards saviour as we look at Jesus as our saviour backward in history! Listen to the testimony of Job.
“I know (I believe) that my redeemer (saviour from judgment to come) liveth, and that he shall stand at the latter day (day of judgment) upon the earth: And though after my skin worms destroy this body (after the death of this body of sin), yet in my flesh (in the glorious immortal body) shall I see God
Look at the faith and belief of Job! He says that I believe that my redeemer and my saviour lives and he will be there on the last judgment day and though I die and after my death, the worms destroy my body, yet I will live (live eternally) and behold my God! What a wonderful faith! Do you still think Job does not mean that Redeemer = Savior = Jesus?
At another occasion spirit of Job seeks need of Jesus as a mediator (1 Tim 2:5) and he begs “…my witness is in heaven, and my record is on high, ….mine eye poureth out tears unto God….that one might plead for a man with God (Job 16:19-21)!
Look at what Elihu says in Job 33:23-25! “If there be a messenger (Mediator as in I Timothy 2:5) ….one among a thousand (see- Song of Solomon 5:10), ….then he is gracious unto him, and saith, Deliver him from going down to the pit: I have found a ransom (Jesus the ransom Matthew 20:28). His flesh shall be fresher than a child’s (New birth – John 3:5) ….he will render unto man his righteousness (righteousness which was lost in the garden of Eden by committing original sin).
Are you beginning to see the gospel in the Old Testament? See what Holy Spirit is making Elihu say? “His flesh shall be fresher than a child’s..” Doesn’t this sound like “verily verily I say unto you that unless a man is born again he cannot enter the kingdom of God?”
What about Moses? How were the Old Testament Saints be saved? Apart from Jesus – as TPM teaches? Absolutely no! They all believed Jesus Christ. There is no name given for salvation to any man in any age apart from Jesus Christ. So why will they end up in third category place of new heaven? Just because these saints of TPM received revelation? Brother and sister, read Hebrews 11 and may God open the eyes of your understanding to see the cloud of witnesses surrounding us. There is an entire list of all those who believed and were saved by faith. Look at what it says about Moses for example. It says he esteemed the reproaches of Christ greater than treasures of Egypt. Do you still think Moses did not look towards Jesus as saviour ahead of his time as we look to Jesus back in history? See the gospel preached by God himself by the mouth of Moses to people in the wilderness.
I will raise them up a Prophet from among their brethren, like unto thee, and will put my words in his mouth; and he shall speak unto them all that I shall command him. And it shall come to pass, that whosoever will not hearken unto my words which he shall speak in my name, I will require it of him (Deut. 18:18-19).
Do you still think you people will go to New Jerusalem/Zion and Moses will go to a place of lower glory called new heaven?
Look at what scriptures say about saints of Old testament – about how they stood for their testimony of salvation by belief in Jesus name:
To him give all the prophets witness, that through his name whosoever believeth in him shall receive remission of sins (Acts 10:43).
I can go on and on – showing you from scriptures that scriptures teach that all those people of Old Testament believed in Jesus or gospel was preached unto them! But more important is the testimony of Jesus! He can convince you a thousand times better than me! He convinced me. He will convince you too! Believe him! See how he taught his disciples and see how their hearts burned when he showed them from the Old Testament Scriptures about himself.
And beginning at Moses and all the prophets, he expounded unto them in all the scriptures the things concerning himself (Luke 24:27). And they said one to another, Did not our heart burn within us, while he talked with us by the way, and while he opened to us the scriptures (Luke 24:32)?
Dear Brothers and Sisters! This TPM teaches a false gospel and another gospel – the gospel of salvation by works! Don’t be deceived by their teachings! Don’t put your trust in their hypocritical show of saintliness! Don’t put your trust in their prayers! These people are deceivers! Don’t give them your money and hard-earned cash! Don’t participate in their spreading of false teachings by giving them money in the name of tithes! If you give them money you are actually participating in spreading the false gospel and false teachings which they spread! These workers of iniquity are not expanding the kingdom, God! They are expanding their own kingdom of TPM. Shame to all those who expand their own organization by any name – be it TPM or whatever! Expand the name and glory of Jesus Christ, not your own denomination and organization and your own church! May God bless you!
