Faith Life! Really?

TPM believers/workers boast that their saints don’t receive a salary but live a faith life. We can then ask “Does pope receive a salary? Do Orthodox monks and nuns receive a salary? The answer is no! Can sadhu/sanyasi and rishi muni claim they are also living faith life?”

In the Old Testament, Levites had no property, but they lived on tithes! A system was established by God in Israel whereby it was fixed for people to give 10 percent of their income to Levites. This is therefore not a life of faith but a life on a fixed system of 10% monthly income! The TPM worker is very sure that tithe will keep coming regularly and every month. There is no need of faith is this system.

For your information: Pastor Paul Ramankutty after having sold his house kept the entire money and utilized it. It would have been different had he given all that money to poor and lived a life moving from village to village and city to city preaching kingdom of God, instead of selling the property and keeping the money with him for his future. Even you can do it! Sell your house/land and keep that money with you, and I am sure you can survive at least ten years with it.  Even if he lived a faith life, yet it cannot be proved that TPM workers of present time live by faith. Instead, they live by tithes. Same applies to catholic priests and nuns. There is nothing to boast about it.

Faith life vs living on Tithe:

There is a difference between living on tithe money and living by faith. When Jesus commanded his disciples to preach the kingdom of God from village to village (Luke 9:6) he asked them to carry no purse and promised that God will ensure that worker of God will receive his wage. Jesus never asked them to wear special clothes so to let people know that they are monks! It is one thing to keep traveling from city to city, preaching kingdom of God and altogether another thing to live in a city in fixed home (like Levites) on a fixed monthly system of tithes! Traveling from village to village requires faith because you don’t know anyone in the city you are going and what you will do there without any money. However earning a livelihood by 10% of income given by individual members of the church is bishop-ing or deacon-ing. Without realizing this difference Pastor Ramankutty twisted the context of scripture of Matt 19:16-30 as faith life of TPM.

In Matthew 19, Jesus asked the rich man to forsake all and follow him, if he desired to gain eternal life. This had nothing to do with so-called faith life. Following Jesus by forsaking all that belongs to us and taking up the cross (Matt 19:16-30) is a pointer to “death-of-self-and-resurrection-with-Jesus”. Jesus was on his journey towards the cross. For the rich man to gain eternal life, he ought to have followed Jesus to cross. Every Christian is expected to do this (Mat 16:24, Luke 14:26-27). We must all follow Jesus on his journey to cross and die with him and be raised with him (Rom 6:2-3). In Dying with Jesus and resurrecting with him, our old self is sacrificed. Everything we have, including our self is sacrificed. We are thereby raised to newness of the new man in reconciled state with God (United to God through the body of Jesus). So, Matthew 19 is not about TPM’s so-called faith life.

See the twisting of Foundational Scripture

It is taught by TPM that Paul Ramankutty started faith life based on the verse “just shall live by faith” (See 5th paragraph of Chapter 4 of his biography. God appeared to him and said “Are you ready to forsake all? I will meet your needs. The Just shall live by faith”). According to Apostle Paul “just shall live by faith (Gal 3:11)” has to do with salvation/eternal life and not with eating food in physical life. Just shall live by faith means a righteous man will live eternally (receive eternal life=live) by his faith on the blood of Jesus and will not be destroyed by the wrath of God. But Paul Ramankutty used this verse for his life on earth and getting daily food. This is twisting/misapplying of scriptures and deceiving people. TPM says God himself appeared and said this! How stupid! How blasphemous! God himself is said to have twisted the scripture!

Note: Faith life was popularized by George Muller way before TPM founder Paul Ramankutty copied it. You can do a little research and find more about deeds of charity to which George Muller applied this concept. Pastor Ramankutty removed charity part from it and then made a mess of it. And TPM deceives people that God came and revealed the deeper truth of faith life to TPM chief Pastors.

Faith Home as House of God,

In Old Testament times, Tabernacle/ Temple of Solomon was considered as the house of God. However, God had made it clear even in Old Testament times that Temple was not the House of God. At the inauguration of first temple (Temple of Solomon), God spoke through the mouth of Solomon

But will God indeed dwell on the earth? behold, the heaven and heaven of heavens cannot contain thee; how much less this house that I have built?” I Kings 8:27

Then again God made Jeremiah speak this to people of Israel when the temple of Solomon was about to be destroyed.

Trust ye not in lying words, saying, The temple of the Lord, The temple of the Lord, The temple of the Lord, are these. Jer 7:4.

Finally again when Second Temple of Herod was about to be destroyed, Jesus said this temple will be destroyed, however, I will raise the true temple (Body of Jesus) in three days (Mark 14:58). Again Stephen asserted the same thing to Israelites saying God does not dwell in a temple made with human hands (Acts 7:48). Then Apostle Paul said, we believers are the temple of God (I Cor 3:16). This was revealed in the book of Genesis itself (Gen 2:7). How often has this been said in the bible then?

Yet TPM teaches people that God dwells in faith homes made with mortar and brick made with human hands. They call their faith Home as the house of God.  TPM workers are brainwashed by their seniors. They, in turn, brainwash believers that TPM saints live in the house of God. They boast it is a great privilege and calling of God to be able to live in faith home.

Faith Life of TPM Workers
Blind Leading the Blind

Jesus never lived in any hermitage. He said foxes have holes & birds have a nest but the son of man has no place to lay his head. Jesus kept moving from one place to another, from village to village, preaching kingdom of God. He didn’t establish monasteries or hermitages made up of mortar and bricks and cement in every place he visited, and neither did his disciples.

The practice of living in hermitage has roots in sanyasi & rishi muni culture or yogi culture in India. Hermits like Gautam Buddha and Mahavir used to live in a hermitage, – away from ‘maya (seduction)’ of the world. Roman Catholics started living in the hermitage in about 400 A.D.

What Roman Catholics call it as “monastery or convent or abbey,” and what Rishi muni/ Sadhu Sanyasi of India call it as “ashram or math,” or what Buddhist monks call it as “vihara,” is called by TPM as “faith home or house of God.”

Nowhere in Bible did Apostles or Jesus or ministers of the word of God lived in Sanyasi Ashram. They all lived in their own homes. And they taught that we born-again humans are the temple of God. God dwells in us. We are the house of God. TPM teaches otherwise.

Dear TPM Believer, you are being taken for a royal ride by these ministers who are just a fulfillment of the following prophecies. Be warned. We have done our part. The Ball is now in your court.

Their destiny is destruction, their god is their stomach, and their glory is in their shame. Their mind is set on earthly things. Philippians 3:19

Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away. 2 Tim 3:5

But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction. And many shall follow their pernicious ways; by reason of whom the way of truth shall be evil spoken of. And through covetousness shall they with feigned words make merchandise of you: whose judgment now of a long time lingereth not, and their damnation slumbereth not. 2 Peter 2:1-3

  1. Well done,
I really wondered why these diehard TPM don’t read Bible, it is because they don’t love the truth,
    Bible says in 2Thes 2: 10-12
God himself allow this to happen,
These people don’t love the truth, and get decived,
The day when they ask god to open their eyes, and pray sincerely that they don’t want to be deceived, their eyes will be opened,

Dear TPM believers pray sincerely to god to open your eyes, so that I don’t want to be deceived, to give wisdom to understand scripture, god will open ur eyes you will see a different spiritual world,
    May god bless you all
Admin I appreciate the move by this site to bring out the truth,
    May god bless u,
These people are still brain washing my parents to pull be back into their cults, these people are so tricky they use all means of threat and control, but by gods grace I am out of these cult, unless you know what is brainwashing, mind control, repeated lies, subconscious programing, you will be a prey,
Pray to god to open ur eyes..
    God bless..

  2. The Bible tells us what to do about deceivers in 2 John 7-11.
7 For many deceivers are entered into the world, who confess not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh. This is a deceiver and an antichrist.

8 Look to yourselves, that we lose not those things which we have wrought, but that we receive a full reward.

9 Whosoever transgresseth, and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God. He that abideth in the doctrine of Christ, he hath both the Father and the Son.

10 If there come any unto you, and bring not this doctrine, receive him not into your house, neither bid him God speed:

11 For he that biddeth him God speed is partaker of his evil deeds.

Antichrist can mean against Christ or antichrist can mean instead of, or, an imitation of Christ. The deceiver brings some error concerning the person or office of the Lord Jesus. He deludes souls, and undermines the glory and kingdom of the Lord Jesus Christ.
Jesus warned us that many shall come in his name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many. Jesus also said that the gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations: (isn’t this being fulfilled today by this website reaching all around the world?) and then shall the end come.
We can see God’s opportunity at hand for the elect of God to witness and be a blessing to others in TPM, trusting in Christ and being led by the Holy Spirit. God will bring many of his sons and daughters out! Praise God.

  3. Recently a brother while preaching was telling that, even though the so called faith home is built on their own land each faith home must pay rent to the center pastor and he in turn pays to the Chief. The reason is, in the past they were renting houses for their services but later people stopped to provide space because of the noise they make so they started to buy their own lands and construct buildings still they pay rent to the Chief. He was boasting this to be their international rule and he claimed there is no church in the whole world as good as TPM.

    • The Believers donate to build this structure which is called Faith Home. But the Rent is paid out not to the believers but to the pontiffs and cardinals in their headquarters. What a Joke.

      • Few months ago, they bought acres of land not far from Melbourne city. The worker brother told they got it cheap for a very good price and they paid “ready cash”. I asked him the price, he said a few millions! (This land they’re planning to use just for the annual Australian convention and special meetings). Just couple months after they bought this Melbourne land, they bought another one in Darwin, again acres for about couple millions. Very nice ‘life of faith’ indeed!!

  4. @Admin
I have asked GOD what exactly does the Scripture means by “Just shall live by faith and GOD taught me, what he really meant by the following scriptures: every time “Just/Righteous shall live by faith” means those who believe in Message of GOSPEL the “Sacrifice of Jesus” shall live.

“The Bible Roman 1:15-17 “Just shall live by faith” clearly tells us, which is not “Just Shall live(Spiritually) by faith”. I.e. when we believe in the “GOSPEL- THE POWER OF UNTO THE SALVATION” we believe in suffering, death, and resurrection of Christ. Due to that, we live “spiritually”

In Galatians 3:11, we read ” Now that no man is justified by the law before God, is evident: for, the righteous shall live by faith ”
However, TPMites ignore these verses: yet knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law but through faith in Jesus Christ, even we believed on Christ Jesus, that we might be justified by faith in Christ, and not by the works of the law: because by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified. (Galatians 2:16)
“and be found in him, not having a righteousness of mine own, even that which is of the law, but that which is through faith in Christ, the righteousness which is from God by faith (Philippians 3:9)”
Both of these verses indicates Justified by “Faith” on Sacrifice of Jesus and shall live “Spiritually”.
This what Jesus Implied “: For I say unto you, That except your righteousness shall exceed the righteousness (the righteousness which is from God by faith) of the scribes and Pharisees (the righteousness of mine own, even that which is of the law / of the works), ye shall in no wise enter into the kingdom of heaven. (Matthew 5:20)”

And in Hebrews 10:38 “But my righteous one will live by faith. And I take no pleasure
in the one who shrinks back.” Now the context of this verse is something else which we need to keep in mind which starts from two different verses from the same chapter “26 If we deliberately keep on sinning after we have received the knowledge of the truth, no sacrifice for sins” and 32 “Remember those earlier days after you had received the light when you endured in a great conflict full of suffering”. The letter to Hebrews was written during A.D. 60 till A.D.70, but according to Bible suffering of Church started by A.D. 35 and during those times followers of Jesus had to suffer greatly because they believed in GOSPEL and not in their own Righteousness. For the Pharisees and Jewish priests, it was blasphemy. So, “my righteous one will live by faith” does mean “believing in the cross of Jesus and not forsaking the teaching of the GOSPEL” and ” And I take no pleasure in the one who shrinks back (according to verse 26 those who deliberately keep on sinning)”.

In Habbakuk 2:4 “See, the enemy is puffed up; his desires are not upright—but the righteous person will live by his faithfulness ”
So, when we read Roman 8:7 because the mind of the flesh is enmity against God; for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can it be:
The enemy which is mentioned in Habbakuk 2:4 “Mind of Flesh is puffed up; his desires are not upright; But the righteous person will live by his faith ” To understand the last part let’s read, Roman 8:3,4 For what the law was powerless to do because it was weakened by the flesh, God did by sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh to be a sin offering. And so he condemned sin in the flesh, in order that the righteous requirement of the law might be fully met in us, who do not live according to the flesh but according to the Spirit. “Sin-offering” also represents the “Sacrifice of Jesus”. Yes in Titus 3:6 whom(Holy Spirit) he (GOD) poured out on us generously through Jesus Christ our Savior. Every blessing comes from “Sacrifice of Jesus”

  5. @ Admin
There’s two Bible verse which many people misinterprets: Will you share some Light on the subject:
1)”And my God shall supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus.” Philippians 4:19 but, Bible also speaks “And if our hope in Christ is only for this life, we are more to be pitied than anyone in the world. (NLT- “For this life”- “For Physical/Earthly life”)” 1 Cor 15:19

    Q1) So, Kindly elaborate Phillippians 4:19 !!
I’m not testing you, I’m in learning stage (I have worst experience in life – because after reading Bible for almost 11, 1/2 & NT almost 25 times through “TPM lenses”- in many cases GOD taught me, what is wrong with such Non-Scriptural Indoctrination- I came to realize I didn’t realize what’s right Interpretation)

Q2) Kindly Elaborate 2 Corinthians 5:7 – for we walk by faith, not by sight (ASV)
Kindly read my above comment for Jesus-centric “Spiritual” faith Life -not ‘Physical’ faith life, I understand that walk and live (NIV) is one and the same thing, but I’m not able to understand how it is connected with “Faith Life” if its not connected with faith life- then how it’s not connected with “Faith Life”?

    3) I believe Psalms 23:1 is also one of the verses, which is usually misinterpreted by many- especially for “Physical” faith life.

    • Brother,
I Remember a sermon by M T Thomas Pastor where he quoted Mat 6:33 and twisted it out in such a way that if you do what TPM teaches, you will receive all kinds of material blessings. He was luring people with names of premium cars, Bungalows and Flats, Good Jobs etc. Sadly all those people had no clue of the context and were shouting Hallelujah and Praise the Lord to all his exhortations.
But had they looked to the chapter, they would have understood that the context was about Food and Clothing(The context starts from verse 25). Jesus was not speaking about the goods of this world.

Thankfully the Apostle spoke about the NEEDS of the people in Philippi in Philippians 4:19. So Paul was in a sense saying that as these people were gracious enough to meet the NEEDS of Paul when he had a squeeze, God will respond back to them in the same gracious manner for their NEEDS too. Sadly people do not see the word NEEDS, but internally bloat it to include GREEDS.

As per Paul, we are expected to be content if our NEEDS (Meaning Food and Clothing) is met.
But if we have food and clothing, we will be content with that. 1 Tim 6:8

The context of 2 Cor 5:1-10 is all about our blessed hope for a resurrected body and about the Reward of our work. So needless to say, the Faith that Paul is speaking about in this context is about the Faith to Receive the resurrected body and the Reward for his work. He is not speaking about the so-called faith preached by the prosperity preachers of this world.
