This article is written to open up eyes of individuals who senselessly assume some circulars by TPM as divine dictates. While consciously pursuing your spiritual development is commendable, joining an established religious institution such as TPM is one of the worst ways to go about it. Most of TPM Folks are in it just because of their birth.  Surely you’ve outgrown your baby clothes by now. Isn’t it time you also outgrew your baby religion? Are not your current beliefs merely a product of your environment and not the result of conscious choice? Move beyond your baby religion. Consider maturity as a reasonable alternative. Move out from Extremism to Godly Common Sense.

Check out your Pastors

Many TPM Ministers are just brainwashed slaves themselves. They don’t have any real authority and aren’t even aware of the agenda being set by their superiors. This makes them better minions because they actually believe the made up rules they’re spouting and don’t know the truth behind it. They suffer from inherited falsehood just like everyone else in the Organization. Every time I see a TPM Minister, I somehow see a Pharisee before me. It Could be their dress, but sure they have an air of Pharisee within them.

Matthew 15:7-9

You hypocrites! Isaiah was right when he prophesied about you:

“‘These people honor me with their lips,
but their hearts are far from me.
They worship me in vain;
their teachings are merely human rules

Slaves Prompted Slavery

The more religious a person becomes, the less compassionate he/she is. The illusion of compassion substitutes for the real thing. Religious TPM folks tend to be the most bigoted and non-accepting people on earth. They’re the least trustworthy and suffer from the grossest character defects. They pretend they’re doing good, but they’re really collaborators in a system designed to push people into unconscious slavery to a “higher” authority. They are slaves promoting slavery.

Matthew 9:13

“But go ye and learn what that meaneth, I will have mercy, and not sacrifice: for I am not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.”

Luke 11:25-46

45 One of the experts in the law answered him, “Teacher, when you say these things, you insult us also.(This is how TPM Ministers Say)”

46 Jesus replied, “And you experts in the law, woe to you, because you load people down with burdens they can hardly carry, and you yourselves will not lift one finger to help them.”

The Psychosis of Fear

The Religion of TPM will teach you to fear being different, to fear standing up for yourself, and to fear being an independent thinker. It will erode your trust in God by explaining why you’re unable to successfully manage life on your own terms and you need the covering of the Clergy: You are unworthy. You belong to a lesser caste. You are not enlightened. Of course the solution is always the same — submit to the will of your Clergy. Believe that you’re inadequate. Give away your power. Follow their rules and procedures. Live in fear for the rest of your life, and hope it will all turn out okay in the end.

Fear in one part of your life invariably spreads to all other parts — you can’t compartmentalize it. If you find yourself frustrated because you’re too afraid to follow your dreams, to talk to members of the opposite sex, to speak up for yourself, etc., then a good place to start is to rid your life of all religious nonsense. Don’t let fear get a foothold in your consciousness.

Dump the safety-in-numbers silliness. Just because a lot of people believe stupid stuff doesn’t mean it isn’t stupid. It just means that stupidity is popular on this planet. When people are in a state of fear, they’ll swallow just about anything to comfort themselves.

2 Timothy 1:7

“For God hath NOT given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.”

Revelation 21:8

“But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.”

Think Straight

When you join TPM, your fellow mind-slaves will help to keep you in line, socially rewarding your continued obedience while punishing your disloyalty. Why do they do this? It’s what they’ve been conditioned to do. Tell your TPM friends that you’re going slow on TPM Bhakti because you want to think for yourself for a while, and watch the sparks fly. Suddenly you’ve gone from best friend to evil demon. There’s no greater threat to religious people in TPM than to profess your desire to think for yourself.

There are better ways to enjoy a sense of community than joining a slavery club. Try making friends with conscious, free-thinking people for a change. Why do you think Jesus was cool when he talked with Prostitutes and Tax Collecters? He was Free of the Religious Baggage you have  on your back. You may find it intimidating at first, but it’s quite refreshing once you get used to it.

Matthew 23:13

“Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees( Read TPM Ministers), you hypocrites! You shut the door of the kingdom of heaven in people’s faces. You yourselves do not enter, nor will you let those enter who are trying to.”

  1. Speaking of human rules, one of the reasons this subject (The false doctrines and enslavement) is close to my heart is because I have personally witnessed what going beyond scripture does to a person and it happened to someone very close to me. How it crushes the spirit of a person to the point that they are led to believe God hates them and gives up on Christianity altogether. In TPM, anyone who doesn’t speak in tongues is treated like something’s wrong with them. They are led to believe that they are inferior to the rest of those who do. Can you imagine what that does to a person? Every single time ministers visit our homes they put people on the spot and interrogate them if they received the gift of tongues. When we travel to our natives and visit churches the first thing they ask is if you’ve received tongues. The worst part is whole family says “Yes” and you are the only one who has to say “No, I don’t speak in tongues” and it makes you feel disgusted with yourselves. On top of that they preach those who don’t speak in tongues are not part of the body of Christ will be left behind and they’ll be dropped in boiling oil by the anti-Christ. Preaching such unbiblical nonsense kills your motivation and the will to seek God. They go on living thinking God hates them. There are many enslaving doctrines in TPM, but this would be up there with the most damaging ones.

    • Richard bro, I completely agree to all that you’ve written and even have gone through the same experiences. Putting others down in terms of spirituality is something that tpm people are expert in. And i have to admit, shamefully though, that I too never missed a chance to do it myself.
(P.S. Your comment “they’ll be dropped in boiling oil by the anti-Christ” really made me laugh. But it certainly is kind of a trump card that they use frequently)

      • lol its’s what they use to make children behave.

Of course I too have looked down on non-TPM believers for most of my life. TPM fosters an elitism.

    • Nowhere in Bible it is mentioned that those who do not speak in tongues will not go to heaven. But at the same time God wants everybody to speak in tongues. Speaking in tongues is not a characteristics of eternity. Another TPM wrong doctrine.

    • Yes TPM Preaches a Doctrine of Condemnation. Every preaching in TPM has condemnation to the believers and other. Never I have heard a condemnation to the “TPM Saints

Surely I know this is a dangerous cult and I do not wish to be part of this. Need to Jump the boat as soon as possible. Certainly not the Gospel that was preached by Christ.

  2. It’s shocking to know how mistranslated words can wreak havoc with consequences being faced down the ages. After “ekklesia” being wrongly translated as “church” instead of “assembly/congregation”, one another word that has created trouble and the clergy-laity divide is, none other than our beloved “pastor”. The original Greek word is “poimen”, which effectively and rightly means “shepherd”, as translated correctly everywhere else in the whole Bible, but to maintain the hierarchy and office, translated as “pastor” in Eph 4:11. I’m rather surprised how we have latched onto this one word so dearly. Why don’t we call our present church leaders as “shepherds” instead of “pastors” when they both mean the exact same thing?? Is it not because the Lord is our Shepherd? But then, every single time we address someone as our pastor, we give them the title of our shepherd.
The below article provides some very good insights into this. Read it once, with an open mind, before we get into a debate/discussion. 🙂

    • Excellent article. There is no way one can read the NT as a whole and believe the early church was anything like TPM is today. Shepherds are to lead by example instead of ruling with a whip and enslaving believers with man made laws.

    • The word “pastor” actually does mean “shepherd”. It is derived from the Latin noun.
      (Source: Wikipedia)

In John 21, “So when they had dined, Jesus saith to Simon Peter, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me more than these? He saith unto him, Yea, Lord; thou knowest that I love thee. He saith unto him, Feed my lambs.”

      He said this three times.

If I understand this correctly, Jesus was giving Peter (and possibly the other disciples) the roles of shepherds.

In Mark chapter 16, he told them “Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.”

So, He sent out multiple shepherds (pastors?).

At the time, their ministry was limited to how far they could travel and other considerations.

Fast forward into the 20th century, the word of God had spread across the world to millions of people.

It would not be wrong for the shepherds to have some sort of organisation and structure.

While it is important to read and understand the word of God in context, it is just as important to serve God and preach His word in the context of the world we live in.

During the time of the apostles, Christianity was under threat.
So, they did their ministry in the open where possible and in secret where it was necessary.

In this day and age, by the grace of God, we don’t need to be secretive (in most places).

But we need structure and organisation.

Organisations will have rules and regulations in the way they function.
Those that choose to join and serve, must follow those rules and regulations – just as you would have to do if you joined a firm to work there.

You are a slave only if you allow yourselves to be enslaved.

      Nobody is holding anybody back.

You choose to be where you are.

If it doesn’t meet your expectations or appetite, then you can choose to be somewhere else.

But, that argument does not hold water with you and your friends, because you claim some sort of right of ownership.
(I think the admin claimed that TPM was built upon his money, among others’)

TPM was built by God upon the sweat and toil of those that chose to serve him.
The money was and is merely a means to an end, given by people who believed in TPM.
Those people did not give the money to any single person, but to God, believing it to be their tithe.

Your arguments are laced with disgruntlement – at least one of you tried to serve in the ministry and failed.
Hence your disgruntled mind led you to this place.

      That’s ok, though.

For generations, many critics have pointed out the “flaws” in TPM’s doctrine and it has never borne fruit.

The only difference now is that you use a popular medium to propagate your ideas.

Yet, you have no solutions, but only accusations.

      • Does anything hold water with you dear Vik? Till now, no scripture to negate our claims. We don’t have a problem with the “feeding My sheep” mentality promoted and designated by our Lord Jesus. Our problem is with those who do not enter from the front door bringing in heresies and unbiblical doctrines.
You quoted Mark 16 – how much of it is visible in TPM, except for the “speaking in tongues” part?
Where is the Great Commission seen or observed or even encouraged?

        In your own words –
For generations, many critics have pointed out the “flaws” in Catholic, Jehovah Witnesses, LSDs, Scientology, Islam and TPM’s doctrine and it has never borne fruit.
It has. Though all of the above thrive and prosper, there are some who heed to the Lord’s voice.

Somehow, I don’t understand how you got this idea of the admin or we (his team members??) being disgruntled, ex-tpm workers? Really strange.
However, I do feel that you are a serving worker brother (or sister). No clue. Could be possible though…

  3. *The wise in heart will receive commandments…(Proverbs 10:8)*

    Receive commandments means obeying.

If we don’t obey God’s counsel which He gives to us through the Word of God and through His servants it means we are not wise.

    • Haha…So you finally found an excuse to obey the cult leaders?
Friend Read the scriptures for what it means. ALL TPM SPECIFIC Teachings are human rules to control masses. Matthew 15:7-9
Many Times people are thinking that their obedience of the Clergy is equivalent to obeying God. But in reality, they are obeying a Man made authority and being spiritually abused.

The real order is 1 Corinthians 11:3But I want you to realize that the head of every man is Christ, and the head of the woman is man, and the head of Christ is God.“.

Don’t Even come close to thinking that TPM Ministers are Servants of God. They are Ministers of a different Domain.

It is not surprising, then, if his servants also masquerade as servants of righteousness. Their end will be what their actions deserve.
      2 Corinthians 11:15

    • If the counsel is contrary to the word of God, you’d do well to discard it. Isn’t it amazing that after hundreds and hundreds of comments on this website, we haven’t heard even ONE tpm believer actually defend these exclusive TPM doctrines using scripture?

      • Richard

I have a question, if the word of God is to be taken literally, can I then do as the following suggests?

        Leviticus 25:44-46
As for your male and female slaves whom you may have: you may buy male and female slaves from among the nations that are around you. You may also buy from among the strangers who sojourn with you and their clans that are with you, who have been born in your land, and they may be your property. You may bequeath them to your sons after you to inherit as a possession forever. You may make slaves of them, but over your brothers the people of Israel you shall not rule, one over another ruthlessly.

Of course, I will treat my slaves well because in Colossians 4:1, it says “Masters, treat your slaves justly and fairly, knowing that you also have a Master in heaven.”

And I would expect them to do as is written in Ephesians 6:5, “Slaves, obey your earthly masters with fear and trembling, with a sincere heart, as you would Christ,”

Does this mean that it’s ok to keep slaves?

Before you quote them, let me say that I am aware of the verses about loving my brother and treating others as I would like to be treated.

Even the apostle Paul, in 1 Corinthians 7:21 says “Art thou called being a servant? care not for it: but if thou mayest be made free, use it rather.”

Nevertheless, if I treat them well, can I keep the slaves?

        • Vik,
Firstly, you keep saying I take everything literally. That is unsubstantiated. What I’ve said OVER AND OVER AND OVER again is that one must learn the CONTEXT for exegeting a passage in the bible. The bible contains some portions like the Psalms, SoS, etc where figurative language is used extensively and then there are other books where historical events are recorded as they happen literally.

          Secondly, good question.
First some background. Slavery has been around even before the books of the Bible were written. Israelites were slaves in Egypt and they were treated poorly. Slavery WASNT INSTITUTED by God but rather in a time when slavery was PREVALENT, God gave the Israelites certain guidelines on how to treat them and how NOT to treat them like other nations did.
When we think of slavery today, the image that pops up in our minds is that of black slaves in cotton plantations who were considered less than human and had nearly no rights. We think it is “forced labour”.

“Slavery” in the Bible is not so. Read ALL the passages that deal with slaves in the bible. Slavery in the Bible is servanthood with right and benefits. You can think of it as a long term contract. Slaves enjoyed rest periods and holidays (Exod. 23:12; Deut. 5:14-15, 12:12). Cruelty to a slave would result in the IMMEDIATE FREEDOM of the slave (Exod. 21:26-27).

WHAT was slavery in the bible? Those who were POOR or IN DEBT used to VOLUNTEER to become slaves so as to avoid dying of hunger (Lev 25). It is NEVER race based and it never was exploitation. It was ALWAYS VOLUNTARY. In fact God called Israelites his slaves. It was a position of honour.
So NO, you cannot own a slave. God gave guidelines to Israelites on how to live in a society where slavery was prevalent. You and I do not live in those times and therefore we cannot apply those laws in our society.

        • Richard,
Don’t you think Mental/Spiritual slavery is much worse than the Physical one? Don’t you think the Mind Control Masters in Many Pulpits are enslaving the innocents with crafty words?

        • Yes, of course. TPM makes one think leaving TPM is same as leaving God. They are indeed enslaving the believers with unbiblical doctrines. Physical slavery does not have eternal repercussions, but spiritual slavery does.

        • To add, the Hebrew word “ebed” means a slave/servant. Our definition of a “slave” has evolved from “servant” to something that means “forced labor”. So if you mean can you own a “slave” which means forced labor? The answer is NO coz scripture prohibits it. Can you have servants who volunteer to serve you in return of certain benefits? Sure.

  4. *Treasures of wickedness profit nothing: but righteousness delivereth from death. (Proverbs 10:2)*

Death referred here is eternal death as both righteous and wicked have to face physical death.

This verse also says if one is righteous he may not have treasures on earth.

    • Do you realize that the wealth of TPM is ill Gotten as Per Proverbs 10:2 ?
They have forced people to sell their land and property to give it to TPM?
They do not work with their hands as was Apostle Paul and is a parasite on people who are tricked by their witchcraft. Do you realize that?
Tell the Religious bandits to start working for their living and stop taking money from hard working people in the name of God.

  5. Having gone through all the articles throwing murmurs and gnashing, one thing is very clear. The more the darts are thrown, the more closer God takes us in this faith. Woe is this site owner and his team who has backslidden and continues extend their fall the others. Praise God for through Christ, we are not fallen. It’s the same spirit of lucifer that made Eve to fall, has sifted this group. May the Lord rebuke it.

If you are been moved by Holy Spirit and He has guided you to throw blasphemous words against people of God, let the same Holy Spirit be a judge betwixt us.

    • Brother you need to first learn the meaning of Blasphemy. As you do not trust us, you can check out any choice dictionary of yours.
You are sinning against God by associating the dangerous doctrine of TPM and it’s proponents to God. Time for you to introspect and REPENT
