Quiz Time – Open Book Examination

Dear Readers,

We had quite an interesting journey since almost 2 months. Our Viewership has jumped to many folds since then and this site has shown increase in traffic especially since a week. Therefore we have upgraded the server and also the look and feel of the site for maximum visibility and minimal clicks.  Though most of the viewers of this site has been reluctant observers because of the very nature of TPM,  we thank you all for the private mails. We are encouraged by that knowing the Lord is working a great work in Liberating his people from the Captivity of Wicked men. We also thank those who send us those abusing comments because you would not have send it to us unless it did not touch a raw nerve of yours. We hope that you would introspect about the reason for your opposition. By Accepting Truth as we see in the bible, we have nothing to lose except for our ego. We also know that it is a tough thing for TPM Ministers and many TPM Believers because they have traveled a long way in their Spiritual Pride and could not swallow such questioning.  But if they see the truth and humble themselves, it will be good for them or else their stiff necks might be broken without remedy.

Whoever remains stiff-necked after many rebukes will suddenly be destroyed–without remedy.Proverbs 29:1

Our TPM Ministers thought that they would help us with some evidences to prove the correctness of the Website’s assertions. So they circulated a circular to help us with our endeavors.

  1. Wow!!!! This is both funny and annoying at the same time. Blasphemous and ridiculous. Who do they think they are? Tpm ministry is more suitable for stone age. It’s very apparent they’re against technology cz their scamming revelations will not work here. Cowards!

  2. We are encouraged by that knowing the Lord is working a great work in Liberating his people from the Captivity of Wicked men.

This is laughable statement of yours.

It’s not going to liberate, but will calibrate and fall on its place correctly.

    1. Surely..But they give us a great insight into their mentality. In Reality THEY FEAR DEATH. Their words betray their show-business and tells us how they are fearful of Death.

  3. Bro admin, please check out the signature on this circular and the circular on “love marriage” that i emailed you. It looks different to me. Just a concern.

    1. Surely these are done by the Dummies in TPM(2nd rung fellows). I do not think this is the Authentic Sign of the same person. Have you checked the very first article in which We had taunted the Pontiff for issuing a circular without a Signature. Now The Nasty fellows have done this.

  4. yes bro, i did read that article. Earlier there were articles without signature, and now there are articles with fake signatures. wow! these people keep stooping lower and lower. I compared the signature in both of these circulars, it looks different to me. Lol! may be this is their latest scam.

  5. Jesus said Nor do people light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a stand, and it gives light to all in the house.” (Matt 5:15)

It is self evident that TPM doesn’t believe it has any light and therefore covers everything up so that nobody sees it. If TPM ministers are 100% sure that what they preach is TRUTH, they should have no fear of outsiders seeing it. I think deep down TPM knows that they are preaching a bunch of non sense masqueraded as truth and are afraid of being found out.

    1. Yes Brother. You nailed it.
The More funny thing is that They are Quoting Heb 10:19 which tells us that we do not need these Broker Nicolaitans to take us to the throne of God. The Blood Of Jesus is the Only Means.
“Having therefore, brethren, boldness to enter into the holiest by the blood of Jesus” Heb 10:19

Do These Guys Even Read Their Bibles?

    2. They cherry-pick the verses they like and ignore all context. The art of biblical exegesis is alien to them. All they do is eisegesis.

LOL! They claim they don’t need publicity (pt no 3)! I wonder what those convention processions are for if not publicity! They are control freaks. They love publicity (but only the right kind). They can’t control what people say on the Internet so they want to shut it down.

      1. In fact I have found that they are publicity freaks..All that they do is put a Mask to cover their true selves. They therefore are after group Publicity.

  6. Hello everyone.

    Hope you missed me.

I was too busy in the captivity of TPM, to join in the conversation.
We were busy taking money from the poor and buying land, building faith homes and halls to conduct meetings and printing magazines and books.

But I haven’t been totally ignoring this “wonderful” site where the “truth” is exposed so that us “captives” can see the light.

If only there was one central place on the site to comment instead of different posts and threads.
Perhaps the admin will grant such a feature.

    Now for some commentary:
    1. The real captives here are the ones who feel that they MUST obey everything they are told in order to stay within TPM.
Free people have a choice – stay or leave.
Those that choose to stay and murmur anonymously are just hypocrites.

    2. When you choose to attend a church or denomination, you choose to listen to what is offered by way of doctrine.
You also have a choice to live your life the way you want.
If you don’t like what you hear, find the “truth” somewhere else.

    3. The word of God is not necessarily limited to what is written in the Bible, but everything that is divinely inspired.
The word of God may not be limited to writings, but also to actions in the lives of people who lived according to his will and as inspired by the Holy Spirit.
The Bible itself is a collection of books written by kings, prophets, physicians, soldiers and other people.
Some of them had audience with God (Moses).
Others had the word revealed to them in visions (John).
Still others were inspired by the Holy Spirit (the apostles).
If you think that the only word of God to be considered is that which was uttered by God himself or his Son, Jesus, then you can discard most of the books in the Bible.
Just because Jesus did not say something himself, does not mean it didn’t come from God.

If you consider the fact that God inspired the compilation of the King James Version of the Bible, then you have to accept that similar inspiration has reached others since then.

    4. All human organizations have good, not-so-good and bad people.
TPM is no exception to this.
Beyond pastor Alwin, there have been others who fell from grace in different ways.
They may not all have been immoral, but definitely fell away.

    5. Having your house, car, business, job or any other earthly possession prayed for is not a sin.
Under the assumption that the person having something prayed for is a believer, if he/she proffers an offering to the minister, they do so of their own accord.

I do not believe God keeps a ledger of how much money you gave to the church.
But, I am sure He knows how much you have given to the church – money, time, sweat, tears and toil.
All of this will be counted as righteousness.

In days past, when the world was less complex, the concept of tithe was explained to people as a simple calculation of that which they earned – money, grain, livestock, etc.

In this day and age, there is a lot more to offer.

I have personally never given a monthly tithe of a fixed percentage. But rather anything and everything I could give at any time.

I give to God – not the individuals who minister to me.
It is they that must be accountable for the tithe received.
If they misuse it, they must pay the price.

    6. I believe somewhere in the New Testament, it says that a man cannot serve two masters.
In a similar light, you cannot follow two different doctrines.
Hence, TPM discourages people from going to multiple churches.

Put simply, if you are suffering from an ailment, the most common thing to do is to seek a doctor’s advice.
If you go to one doctor in the morning and another in the evening and they give different opinions and treatments,
    a. You will possibly end up confused. Whose advice do I follow?
    b. You may decide to follow both sets of treatment – which can have disastrous effects if the medicines prescribed are not compatible with each other.

So, if you trust in modern medicine, the best thing to do is find one doctor whose opinion you trust and follow his/her advice.

In a similar fashion, if you seek salvation and find the doctrines of one church inspiring, then stick with it.
It may not be TPM, but whatever it is, make up your mind.

    7. TPM never says that it is the ONLY way.
I recall personally hearing pastor TU Thomas once informed a convention audience that he would never say that TPM is the only and absolute right way. He said it quite clearly that those that wish to seek, find and enter the kingdom of God must pray and submit themselves to the guidance of God. He went on to say that if they are guided and urged to go somewhere else, they may do so.

    8. TPM ministers never call themselves “saints”.
Yes, they refer to other ministers as saints – in an aspirational and motivational manner of speaking.
First of all, saints are not just TPM ministers, but anyone who leads a saintly life.
This can be anybody, within the church and without.

Only God can decide who is a saint.

We may refer to people who lived a perceptibly holy life as saints.
    It’s a title of respect.

    9. This site is inherently negative.

The writing on this site can be broken into the following types:
    1. The posts – some of which are written by the admin. Others are written by others and still others are copied and pasted from other places (and sometimes acknowledged).

The posts do not have a firm footing in any inspiration, but are fueled by the anger and angst of the owners wanting to prove a point.

    2. The comments by the admin and his supporters.
What is interesting to note is the commonality between the admin’s comments and those of his supporters like Richard, Wilfred, etc.
They all quote the Bible for everything – which is a good thing.
However, the language used and the tone employed reeks of anger, pride and condescension.

A truly spiritual, enlightened Christian would never insult people in the way that us “captives” have been referred to by the admin and his supporters.

Furthermore, a true Christian, while he may argue that some TPM ministers have acted dishonestly or immorally, will never use rude language referring to them.
Yes, you can quote from the Bible that Jesus called the pharisees and the merchants in the temple, thieves.
But remember one thing: Jesus Christ is the sinless and perfect Son of God. There will never be another like him.
    YOU ARE NOT JESUS CHRIST.

Judge not, that you be not judged.

    3. The comments by the pro-TPM “captives”.
What we lack, and where the admin, has an advantage is that we do not have the concordant grasp of the scriptures.
The only thing we can do is pray that the Lord leads us out of the “captivity” of this life on earth and into the freedom of his eternal kingdom.

    10. TPM is an apostolic ministry.
When Jesus asked his disciples to follow him, they were already married and had families.
Some of their families went with them as they followed Christ.

My own understanding of what is expected of an apostle is that he/she is one whose only purpose in life is to preach the gospel to every creature and to bring every man to Christ.
Hence, TPM refers to Colossians 1:28 “Him we preach, warning every man and teaching every man in all wisdom, that we may present every man perfect in Christ Jesus.”

The apostle’s job, in my humble understanding, is to do that and only that.

A married person with children, is “enslaved” by his/her duties as a spouse, parent, etc.
In this world, these duties require one to earn money to be able to provide food, shelter, clothing, education and other needs.

A person employed by another person or organisation is bound to the contract of that employment.

Both of these situations will definitely divert one’s attention from the job of an apostle – to preach, convert and prepare people for the coming of the Lord.

Pastor Paul found his calling but was married with children.
Fortunately for him, his wife and children serve the Lord with him.

It took pastor Alwin to reveal the concept of celibacy.
Celibacy is a form of sacrifice – giving up the pleasures of a physical and emotional relationship with a partner in this world.
He fell from grace, despite this revelation.
However, the concept in itself is not wrong.

If I am correct, the late pastor Manoharan got married after joining the ministry, with the permission of the chief pastor at the time.
This was after the concept of celibacy was introduced.
If the chief pastor was aware of this doctrine, then it makes me wonder why he made an exception for pastor Manoharan.
He must have been inspired to do so.

I believe it was introduced as rule in order to ensure (a) that they live a segregated and consecrated life and (b) they distinguish themselves from the world.

If you look at other churches, the priests/pastors/evangelists are all burdened by their worldly families – wives, children, parents, etc.
The need to fulfill their requirements drives them to seek money.

TPM ministers do not seek money.
They leave behind their families, possessions and relationships to serve God.
I believe in some cases, when a man or woman joins the ministry, the parent may offer that person’s share of the inheritance to the church.
This is so that person who joins that he/she now has nothing left in this world – not even an inheritance.

Yes, they share their challenges with the believers – not all of whom may be able to offer anything.
Those that wish to offer it do so, but all are free to act according to their conscience.

Some people take offence to TPM ministers preaching about tithing.
They preach about tithing because it’s their duty to “teach every man”.

    Tithing is an individual choice.

    11. False prophecies.
I too have heard my fair share of what sounds like false prophecies.
There are a lot of believers who seem to be merely mouthing off verses from the Bible.
These are definitely not prophecies in the conventional sense.
However, if they do this deliberately, in order to gain attention, then the curse of God will be upon them.
But, it is not for us to judge which one is a true prophecy or a false one.

    12. Speaking ill of others.
By introducing the testimony of Sam Alangaramoney in the unedited and subjective form that he did, the admin introduced a further spirit of anger.

I feel sorry for brother Sam. He seems to have gone through severe trauma in his early days.
Although it has been over 50 years since the days of pastor Alwin, brother Sam has a lot of pent up anger and pain which he has not been able to shed.

For what it’s worth, pastor Alwin fell from grace.
Regardless of that, he made contributions.
Despite all the bad stories about him, I have heard more good things about him.
He was blessed with many gifts which he used for the service of God.

His final fate is in the hands of his creator.

    13. Leave the admin and his cohorts to their own devices.
Time is better spent in meditating on the word of God, seeking the right fellowship and preparing for the coming of the Lord.

Finally, I am dead sure the admin or one of his friends is quite capable of rebutting all of my statements above with verses from the Bible.

As Mercedes said in another comment, we can go round and round in argument.

It will never get us anywhere.

    The church belongs to God.
The chief pastor of TPM has nothing to personally gain from any of this.

I, and many others, believe that he works by divine guidance.

Some people may have issue with this.

The answer to everything is through prayer.

The job of cleansing the church is God’s.
Don’t take some verse from the Bible and claim that job for yourself.

Of our own we are nothing.

All we are is by the grace of God.

    1. Wow Vik Gant..After a Long time. Nice to see you back. Before we come to the first point…I would like to let you know that you got a bad rate of 50% discount in disposing off the 1000 and 500 currency notes. Do you know why?
Because its not your hard earned money..You Got it with Fluke so you can of course exchange it for a 50% loss… Good Show.

      Your First Point
      1. The real captives here are the ones who feel that they MUST obey everything they are told in order to stay within TPM.
Free people have a choice – stay or leave.
Those that choose to stay and murmur anonymously are just hypocrites.

      Our Answer
You Got it wrong Son. TPM is not for us to leave. This organization is built by our hard earned Money and just because some crook Hijackers hijacked our Organization and is sitting in the cockpit, that does not make them right. We are not here to leave. The crooks which hijacked us and our dear ones will need to LEAVE. Period
      Stop day dreaming.

Now We have told you many times about the reason of our anonymity. But what is the reason for your Anonymity? We know for sure your name is not ViK Gant. If you really want to tell that you are not anonymous, Please send us some verifiable attested copy of your ID Proof. Without that stop your nonsense.

Rest of the points will be replied in when we are free.

    2. Your Point 2.
      2. When you choose to attend a church or denomination, you choose to listen to what is offered by way of doctrine.
You also have a choice to live your life the way you want.
If you don’t like what you hear, find the “truth” somewhere else.

      Our Answer
No body choose to attend any church. Read your Bible Son. We are the “Ekklesia” also called Church. Church is not an Organization as you think. You need to learn some scriptures. A Human Organization like TPM is NOT got anything to do with the Body Of Christ. Its just a Bureaucratic Machine masquerading as Church.
If you are mentioning about TPM as the Church in your context. I thought I made it clear. WE are not going anywhere. We are here to spread the truth about the fraudsters in TPM. We are glad that many people have come to the realization of that. And as long as the Lord Wills we will continue doing it. Not One second less Not one second more. PERIOD.

    3. Your Point 3
      3. The word of God is not necessarily limited to what is written in the Bible, but everything that is divinely inspired.
The word of God may not be limited to writings, but also to actions in the lives of people who lived according to his will and as inspired by the Holy Spirit.

      Our Answers
Friend, I feel sorry for you. You are just going the wrong track. Anybody cannot say that his sayings are inspired. Do you know just because people thought that Alwyn’s sayings were inspired they believed and accepted his nonsense as DIVINELY INSPIRED. When he slept with Faith Home Sisters, the sisters were told that they are being Sanctified. Had they read their scriptures, they would not have done so. Brother with a heavy heart I tell you that you are being duped by people who says that their ways are inspired by God where as their fruits are rotten and is stinking all around. You Choose for yourself.

      1. It is indeed shocking to hear TPM believers openly say that not every revelation is contained in scripture. I feared they only subconsciously believed that, but no they really do openly say it.

    4. Your Point 4
      4. All human organizations have good, not-so-good and bad people.
TPM is no exception to this.
Beyond pastor Alwin, there have been others who fell from grace in different ways.
They may not all have been immoral, but definitely fell away.

      Our Answers
Brother Vik..You need to know what is Meant by Falling From Grace. What TPM teaches is that if anybody leaves TPM Ministry, he/she is fallen from Grace. But the Bible Says that the Whole of TPM Ministers are Fallen From Grace.
Galatians 5:4 You who are trying to be justified by the law have been alienated from Christ; you have fallen away from grace.. The Entire TPM Machinery is geared towards being Justified by their own weird laws. I have not yet heard any TPM Preaching where they could not push in their legalistic laws. So primarily, ALL TPM MINISTERS are FALLEN FROM GRACE.

    5. Let me respond to the points you’ve raised.

      1. Being anonymous is forced on us. Didn’t you read the circular? The atmosphere in TPM is one such where critical thinking is discouraged and any dissidents are shut up. Too long TPM has covered up its doctrines without anyone critiquing it. So there is absolutely nothing wrong with doing so.

      2. When that church makes up rules like those who take medicine should not take communion (I was someone who did not take medicine for almost 15 years). It was during that time I questioned such rules. You are wrong on this one. When people attend a church, we are to hold what we hear to the standard of the word of God. Since TPM doesn’t allow such practice, we use the platform of the Internet to do so.

      3. WOW! Not you are entering the territory of Roman Catholics. No others have I heard speaking like you do. The word of God is not limited to the writings? There are no new revelations. All revelations are limited to scripture. Read 2 Tim 3:16. ALL SCRIPTURE is God breathed. God inspired the original writers, not King James. Which is why any responsible teacher will be well versed in Greek and Hebrew unlike TPM pastors.

      4. Yes, but unlike TPM they instantaneously throw out ministers who are adulterers and murderers.

      5. Prayed for? Please do show us anywhere in the NT where believers did such a thing. We are to pray for ONE ANOTHER. But the way TPM believers rush their new vehicles to the faith home like people take vehicles to temples is comical. Regarding tithes there is just FREEWILL offering in the New Testament. The concept of 10% tithe is not imposed on NT believers. But TPM frequently preaches on it.

      6. Now that is GROSS MISINTERPRATATION of scripture. Context please? The passage where Jesus says no one can serve 2 masters is where one master is God and the other is money. Every Christian church has ONE master and He is Christ. You are talking as though truth is subjective. It isn’t. There is no “one way for you” and “another way for me” to gain eternal life. Jesus is building ONE CHURCH. He doesn’t see names of denominations on our foreheads when he looks on us. He sees us as his children. A true Christian who has understood that should have no problem going to other church. I just took communion in a non-denominational church last Sunday and their belief is anyone can take communion in their church if we are born again. That must be the attitude of a real Christian Church.

      7. Of course they do. They don’t say it explicitly. But having lived all my life surrounded by TPM doctrines I can honestly say that they indeed do. TPM teaches those who have TV in their homes, take medicine, no communion if you take medicine etc will not be seen at the rapture. So of course the only church that teaches such false doctrines are TPM. So of course the only ones going to be with Jesus are TPM believers. Any honest TPM believer will admit this.

      8. Oh no! The word saint refers to anyone God has “set apart”. It refers to EVERY BORN AGAIN BELIEVER in Christ. But we know the TPM lingo, don’t we? In any publication where the word “saint” is mentioned, it refers to the minsters. We don’t see such distinction in scripture. So TPM plainly unbiblical in this regard.

      9. I would advise against appropriating emotions in a comment that you read on the internet. You can in no way know what the other person is feeling when they type. Being critical of something doesn’t mean being angry. If you really want to see what anger looks like, I suggest you visit groups on facebook where a simple disagreement will result in TPM believers going on a temper tantrum calling people bastards, idiots and cursing people to hell. Judge not, and you shall not be judged? Context again please. Jesus is talking about hypocritical judgements. If you never judged anything in life, you’ll never be able to even cross the road.

      10. I’m not interested in human opinions. The problem is none of your argument is rooted in the word of God. Apostolic ministry you say? “Don’t we have the right to take a believing wife along with us, as do the other apostles and the Lord’s brothers and Cephas?” (1 Cor 9:5). That’s some apostolic ministry for you. What TPM has isn’t “apostolic ministry” but “Roman Catholic ministry”.

      11. I’ve got 1 verse for you. “Dear friends, do not believe every spirit, but TEST the spirits to see whether they are from God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world.” (1 john 4:1).

      12. I really don’t care for the personal lives of TPM ministers. I really don’t. The only thing I care about is doctrine. TPM doctrine is enslaving. That is because the majority of the doctrine is not rooted in scripture but man made philosophies.

    6. Your Point No. 5

It is they that must be accountable for the tithe received.
If they misuse it, they must pay the price.

      Our Answers
I don’t think anybody said its a SIN to get prayed for your earthly possessions. But it was asserted that such an attitude is a Pagan one and is a landmark proof for the slavery of TPM Believers. The TPM Believers do not have any confidence in following God and have a DIRECT ACCESS. They are still SLAVES. GOD DOES NOT HAVE STEP CHILDREN. The TPM Ministry Keeps their Believers in the infancy of spirituality till they die.

    7. Have you noted what others have to say about this Mission apart from the information we get in this website?
Please check out Quora in https://www.quora.com/Is-The-Pentecostal-Mission-TPM-aka-New-Testament-Church-NTC-a-cult

      1. The anonymous answer on Quora is mine. My first exposure to the critique of TPM came from the comment section of Rachel’s blog. It really opened my mind to some of the things wrong with TPM.

      2. To be honest, I too read her blog first and started thinking about this whole thing called tpm, was back in 2010. But I was a staunch tpmite at that time and was trying to find ways to counter her in the comments. 😀

        1. Wow interesting. I Started Rachel Chitra’s Blog as a Pro-TPM and ended as Sensible person. That was my story.
I am member in different Whatsapp groups mainly TPM Majority ones. When some one send the link to this website, many of the TPM supporters were vehement in opposing the link. Most of them said that this site is “ANTI-TPM”. I was sure, they somehow was equating this site to a SATANIC Site because for them TPM is God so Anti-TPM is Satanic.
I wish they have the discernment to understand that TPM Should not/ Cannot be equated with God.
I wish they get out of their thinking and be delivered out of the TPM Spirit.

      3. There are some interesting exchanges in the Orkut archives as well. Back when Orkut was around I used to be a staunch TPMite as well. I couldn’t stand even a little criticism of TPM doctrines and used to defend it tooth and nail.

        http://orkut.google.com/c16187556-f.html

If you go to the forum section and browse to pre-2009 there were some interesting exchanges.

        1. Wow that is pretty Good.
I was also like you. But in the very inner part of my being I could feel that I was just out to win the argument rather than making a conscious effort to look into the whole matter without the TPM Lens. TPM Lens is quite a powerful Delusion. It can make you so one-sided that you lose the capacity to appreciate the other person’s view points.

  7. Al these points me to think the admin and their host are bunch of people without spine. Poor chaps. Continue your gymnasium.

  8. Vik

You seen to think that that I still haver a lot of anger towards tpm. I am not angry at all.

I feel very sorry for the sincere who are caught up in this invisible Web of twisted
scriptures. Alwin survived with the support of
Power hungry senior Pastors. The had the most
Comfortable life, while sincere brothers and sisters were living like beggers.

On my last visit with Pastor Alwin, a few months before his death, he was telling me that, those days a few got healed here and there, but now everyone I touch gets healed. I remember how he trained a few people to testify about their healing. Hold a cup in front of a blind or partially person, and tell him again and again, this is cup. Then in the evening service the blind man is asked, what is this,
and he says this is cup. There was never a certified healing by a doctor. Even if people were genuinely healed, it was not because of Alwin. It was in answer to prayers of sincere people who prayed day and night.

I liked him for his goodwill to wards me. Even as a teenager I had doubts about the man, because I knew the man behind the cutain.

Once I heard him saying that a man born a eunuch, Must be healed, and conquer his sexually drives, if he wants to go to Zion.
AS A TEENGER with very limited knowledge of the scriptures, I thouhgt, that was pure hog wash,!

All the senior Pastors who were present, never
Questoned him. They were all so scared of Alwin. He was the Devils mastermind to come up with such diabolical doctrines. The doctrines were to cover up, His true identity.

Does God really give deep revelations to morally bankrupt men,to perfect every man in Christ Jesus? What do you say Vik?

    Starving and suffering.
