Do you know that the Saturday Tarrying meeting is a thing which exposes TPM’s claim to apostleship as a fraudulent one?
It is not a new thing for a TPM pastor to claim Apostleship. Their claim to apostleship is because they have not married and they have joined TPM. As simple as that. How ridiculous can it get? Does the Bible tell that kind of nonsense? No. But when they have decided to fool ignorant folks, they do this kind of teaching.
One of these claims is exposed in their Tarrying Meetings. In the Bible, we see that the Apostles waited for the coming of the Holy Spirit till the day of the Pentecost when they received power from heaven. But once they received the baptism of the Holy Spirit, they never waited.
But rather a new phenomenon started appearing. This new phenomenon is as follows. The apostles received a special power to lay their hands on people to impart the baptism of the Holy Spirit.
Acts 8:17 “Then Peter and John placed their hands on them, and they received the Holy Spirit”
Acts 19:6 “When Paul placed his hands on them, the Holy Spirit came on them, and they spoke in tongues and prophesied.”
Now let me ask all our dear TPM Diehards this question.
How many people get baptized by the Holy Spirit when the TPM Apostles lay their hands on them?
In my over 40+ years of TPM Association, I have not seen Even ONE.
Moreover, is not the Tarrying Meeting an enough proof that TPM Ministers are NOT Apostles? Had they been true Apostles, all that they need to do is Lay their hands on the saved people. Immediately God will confirm them with Signs and Wonders. In this case anointing of the Holy Spirit.
Mark 16:20 “And they went forth, and preached every where, the Lord working with them, and confirming the word with signs following. Amen”

Berean Ministry - Apostles
Off late, I’ve been wondering about this whole concept of “Tarrying Meetings”. I know it’s conducted in many other Pentecostal churches but here’s what I think –
The disciples were waiting for the promise. No clapping, singing, asking, shouting, crying? All they knew was that the Lord asked them to wait till they would be clothed with power from on high (Luke 24:49). Did not the Holy Spirit still come down as promised on the day of Pentecost itself? And once they were filled with the Spirit, where again do we see any instance of people gathering and waiting for hours/days/months/years to receive the Holy Spirit Baptism? The first tarrying was for the Holy Spirit to come down to earth to stay with us forever as the Comforter promised by the Lord. Why do we have tarrying meetings today when the Holy Spirit is already present on earth?
Secondly, as even pointed in the above article, except for the day of Pentecost, all other incidents of converts (Jews or Gentiles) receiving the Holy Spirit did not involve “tarrying”. It was instantaneous.
a. Cornelius and his family received the Holy Spirit and spoke in tongues as soon as they heard Peter preach the Gospel. No tarrying…
b. Disciples of John (unbelieving Jews) received the Holy Spirit and spoke in tongues as soon as Paul laid his hands on them. No tarrying…
c. Samaritans (unbelievers) received the Holy Spirit (no evidence mentioned – can be tongues or prophecy) as soon as Peter & John laid their hands. No tarrying…
Why then we have to tarry for the Holy Spirit today? Has not the Lord clearly said in Luke 11:13 – “…how much more will the heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him!” Where is the tarrying?
Any Nonsense teaching by TPM is branded as Apostolic Teaching
They think that people will continue to fall for it.But they do not realize that an army is formed which will bring all these things down to where it belong. The Garbage bin.
We were the most affected ones with these evil doctrines
I completely agree
1cor 14:26 is the guiding principle. If you can practise this verse in a tarry meeting. Then the meeting is legitimate.
This Verse is not only for a Tarry meeting…It is the NORM. All Fellowship meetings should be like this and not a Pastor run one(Clergy Show). Alas!!! we have come soooo faaar from what was the original Christianity.
I agree
They frequently whipped up emotions by stating that by jumping in the spirit you are readying yourself to defy gravity when Jesus comes.
When a junior worker is conducting Tarrying meeting in a small local, many times he is even despised by the fellow workers (sisters) and then…. all of a sudden the senior worker or center pastor visits the meeting hall, you should see the revival and jumping.. prophesies etc.
The 90’s were terrible for the noise and drum beats and the songs being sung at approx 350% speed.
Take an honest survey for yourself- what is the quality of many of the prophesies:
‘I am coming soon’; ‘I am calling you to Zion’ ‘I have chosen you’ ‘Dont delay, follow me’ or some bible verse blurted out.
Not to point fingers- a prophesy should cause hearts to burn and eyes to cry.
Do you need to really clap your hands and fill in the spirit?
Do you need to shout over the other to show how anointed you are?
Where is the fruit, is what the master asks- You can have all the gifts, so what….
This happened a couple of months ago. There were around 5 or 6 “prophecies” during the Sunday meeting. Some of them were obviously made up as even the pastor criticized them and called them out. The very next Sunday there was not even ONE “prophecy”. It made me wonder if any of it were actually from God if it suddenly stopped just like that.
I completely agree with what you said. In the bible, prophecies led people to repentance. Visions shook up our presuppositions (like the one Peter had regarding “unclean animals”). What we see in TPM is that even though there are obvious false doctrines, not even a single vision or prophecy speaks against it.
Very well written- thanks for speaking the truth
Fraud priests, Fraud center pastors and Fake chief pastors. If Jesus died on cross for the sinners was true, these fraud priests are definitely goes to hell. current chief pastor is not a chief pastor, he is a cheep pastor. ” when the central Government ban 500 rupees and 1000 rupees currency, what the chief pastor did?????? nothing could hide from the vision of God. all are visible. They destroys millions of currency. But they did not helped even a single poor. These priests are money crazy stupids. All their Holy spirits are Waste. They says their’s spirits are according to the Holy spirit. Actually they are all having a satanic spirits.
