Manipulating People with Subtle Threats – Tithe

Tithing

Subtle threatening is a skill perfected by most preachers of almost all churches. “TPM SAINTS” are not to be left behind in this area. They are super skilled in manipulating people with subtle threats. There are so many ordinances in the Old Testament like Circumcision, Sacrifices of different kinds, Food habits, Dressing ordinances, Marital instructions and the rest. A total of 613 such commandments is there in the books of the Law. But did you know that the preachers just import few of those ordinances which they think are profitable for them? They discard the rest as it is cumbersome and burden for them.

One of those special import is called THE TITHE.

  1. Did you know that Tithe is an Old Testament Ordinance which has to be practiced only by people in Israel who had agricultural or animal produce? (Leviticus 27:30)
  2. Did you know that normal artisans did not pay to tithe?
  3. Did you know that Tithe was never Money? (Deut 14:23). Do not let preachers fool you and tell you that during those days there was no money. Right from Genesis 23:15, Shekel was the Currency of Israel.
  4. Did you know that the Poor never paid to tithe but rather took the tithe? (Deut 14:28-29)
  5. Do you know that the Tithe has to be EATEN by you? (Deut 14:23)
  6. Do you know that there were 3 types of Tithe totaling 23.33% of the income? (Num 18:21,24,Deut 14:22-27,Deut 14:28-29)
  7. Did you know that today’s Pastors do not qualify to accept any tithes? (Num 18:21,24,Deut 14:22-27,Deut 14:28-29)
  8. Do you know that TPM Pastors fool people and tell that they are the New Testament Levites? At the same time, they also fool people telling that they are of the Order of Melchizedek. They want to take advantage of batting from both the teams in the same match.
  9. Do you know that a Levite has to be born in the Tribe of Levi to accept Tithe? Do not let preachers fool you with twisted preachings from the pulpit.
  10. Do you know that Modern Day Jews do not practice Tithe because they do not have the temple?

But our Modern Preachers has twisted an old testament ordinance and made it a money making scheme for their benefit. Though the “TPM SAINTS” tell us that they have left the world, don’t believe them. They covet your money and will give you subtle threats that not giving them money (Tithe) is equivalent to stealing from God. Most of such preachings take the help of Malachi 3:10. They do not tell us the truth that Malachi chapter 2 and 3 is written in the context of Priests stealing the Tithes. They also do not bother to tell you that  tithes are NOT MONEY but Agro Products.

New Testament Law is NOT Tithing BUT Giving

But then why do not the Preachers trust the People to do the GIVING? Why do the insist on the UNBIBLICAL MODERN MONEY  TITHING? They know that if people Practice Giving, quite a lot of money will be given to the Poor of their own churches directly. Therefore it might not reach the plate of the Clergy.

Romans, Galatians, and other New Testament passages make it clear that Christians are not under the law of Moses. That does not mean that we are lawless, because we are under the law of Christ (1 Cor. 9:20-21; James 1:25; 2:8, 12; Rom. 13:8-10). Those aspects of the Mosaic law that reflect the moral character of God are valid under the New Covenant and are repeated as commands in the New Testament. But the church is never commanded to tithe.

Dont Mix up things

Those who argue for tithing point out that Abraham and Jacob both tithed prior to the Mosaic law (Gen. 14:20; 28:22). Thus tithing supersedes the law, they argue. If the New Testament gave no further guidelines, that might be a valid point. But it does, as I will show. But there are other practices, such as circumcision and sabbath-keeping which pre-date the Law and yet are not binding on us.

If you examine the references to Abraham’s and Jacob’s tithing, you will see that God did not command them to tithe and there is no indication that this was their regular practice. On one occasion after a victory in battle, Abraham tithed the spoils from that battle, but nothing is said regarding his other possessions or his regular income (Gen. 14:20). To follow Jacob’s example would be wrong, because he was making a conditional vow before God, promising that if God would keep him safe and provide for him, then he would give God a tenth (Gen. 28:20-22). That’s hardly a good example to follow in giving! Tithing was required under the Mosaic Law, but believers are not under the Law.

If tithing is to be practiced by the Christian church, it seems strange that Paul did not mention it when he wrote of giving, especially to the predominately Gentile churches which would not be familiar with the Old Testament.

Modern Tithing takes us back to the Law

Tithing emphasizes your obligation to God; New Testament giving, as we shall see, emphasizes your willing, loving response to God’s grace. Furthermore, tithing limits giving by making a person feel that he has paid his dues (so to speak) and thus nothing more is required, when, in fact, much more could be done. Tithing has a tendency to put a person on a legal basis with God, rather than a love relationship. It’s the wrong emphasis.

Whom Should you Give to?

According to Jesus, We should Give to the Poor..He did not want any Money…Look at this statement by our Lord?

Jesus answered, “If you want to be perfect, go, sell your possessions and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. Then come, follow me.”   Matthew 19:21

Jesus Never said  like this ..”As you are joining my ministry, sell your possessions and give to my Ministry”

Now What did the Apostles Teach to do with your money?

Galatians 2:10  “ All they asked was that we should continue to remember the poor, the very thing I had been eager to do all along.”

What should we do now?

We need to get back to obeying our Lord and his Apostles as written in the Bible. We need not obey these fake apostles who are out to build an empire for themselves in the name of the Lord.

But then how will our Pastor Survive?

It is a very logical question. However, when the TPM Pastors are following the pattern of Paul when it comes to marriage, why don’t they follow him for his pattern for working?

Paul the Apostle worked secular Job (Tent Making) with his own hands for his daily living.

nor did we eat anyone’s food without paying for it. On the contrary, we worked night and day, laboring and toiling so that we would not be a burden to any of you.”  2 Thessalonians 3:8

In verse 7 Paul is asking others to Imitate him  “For you yourselves know how you ought to imitate us, because we were not undisciplined among you“.

In verse 9 Paul is telling that he is setting us an Example. “Not because we have not power, but to make ourselves an ensample unto you to follow us.”

Paul tells us that it is a BETTER EXAMPLE to work and live than to live on other’s donation.

So I ask this question…Why do not TPM Pastors work with their hands and leave manipulating poor people by defrauding their money?

Why don’t they follow the better example of working for their living, like Paul?

Why do they insist on the twisted modern money tithe which is nowhere to be seen in the Bible?

Why do they want an easy life of being a clergy of a religious organization?

  1. Dear Admin…

If Tithing is not for new testament then why Jesus said the following in Luke 14:22 “But woe (judgement is coming) to you Pharisees, because you(self-righteously) tithe mint and rue and every (little) garden herb (tending to all the minutiea), and yet disregard and neglect justice and the love of God; BUT THESE ARE THE THINGS YOU SHOULD HAVE DONE, WITHOUT NEGLECTING OTHERS. AMP

can you explain the last part highlighted in caps?

But i understand that giving is out of love and tithing may be out of fear or bondage of law…

    1. Brother,
Do you know Jesus lived in the old testament and abided by its laws?
But when the set time had fully come, God sent his Son, born of a woman, born under THE LAW, Galatians 4:4
Jesus lived under Old Covenant rules and regulations and that He was bound to keep the “whole law” with all of its rituals and ceremonies. In the Old Testament, God commanded His people to adhere to an exhaustive set of rules governing the offering of sacrifices, various washings and ablutions and physical requirements such as circumcision. These regulations were designed to keep Israel in mind of the need for a Savior and to set them apart as a separate nation to protect them from the influence of Gentile nations (Galatians 3:23-24).

That is the reason why Jesus got circumcised on the 8th day – Luke 2:21
That is the reason why Jesus asked the lepors to go and fulfil the purification law (Luke 17:14)

Similarly Tithing is also part of the same Old Testament Law. Remember how Jesus said. He did not say about Giving money but agro products as per the Tithe Law. The pharisees had money. But when they give they gave Mint, Anise and Cumin (all agri products) and NOT MONEY. Sadly TPM and other greedy crooks converted the agro products to Money…How pathetic.

ALL THE ABOVE IS OF THE OLD COVENANT.

Now The New covenant was established by Jesus at his death. And in this New Covenant, there is No Physical Circumcision, No Ceremonial law, No Cleanliness law and so many things from the Old Testament. Acts 15:20 explains what part of the Old Testament is imported to the NT. It does not indicate any Tithing.
Hebrews 12:24 clearly says Jesus is the mediator of the New covenant and this covenant was established by the Death of Jesus and not when he lived.
When he lived it was Old Testament and that is the reason he asked Pharisees to follow their laws.

NEW COVENANT CAME INTO EFFECT AFTER HIS SACRIFICIAL DEATH.

15 For this reason Christ is the mediator of a new covenant, that those who are called may receive the promised eternal inheritance—now that he has died as a ransom to set them free from the sins committed under the first covenant.

16 In the case of a will,[a] it is necessary to prove the death of the one who made it, 17 because a will is in force only when somebody has died; it never takes effect while the one who made it is living. , Hebrews 9:15-17

I hope I made it clear.
